💬 On Monday we were in the prestigious Mayfair in London, working alongside our partners at Mace Group, delivering one of our financial literacy courses - perfectly timed ahead of the 31 January self-assessment deadline!

We delivered 1-to-1 support to the construction workforce at 180 Duke Street, providing information on budgeting, CIS, HMRC and pensions for the self-employed.💰

We were also delighted to have over 10 new candidates sign up to Gement Connect, giving them access to 12 months of tailored, fully funded construction support, and help them get the most out of their construction career!

"✨ Our team had a fantastic day exhibiting at the CITB Skills & Training Conference in Milton Keynes yesterday, held at the same venue as SkillBuild.

We met with many new ATOs, employers and colleges 👥 - all of who will soon have their new entrants supported through Gement Connect!

The day was filled with brilliant workshops, panel sessions and round-table discussions, all focused on how we can continue to deliver value and measurable impact for employers.

12 more construction workers supported in London with Glencar Construction 🙌

We're back in London with our friends at Glencar Construction and Cidori after launching Gement Connect in Brent Cross last month. This time we were at one of their sites in Tottenham, where we supported another 12 construction workers - all who will be equipped with the tools to stay, succeed and be retained in the construction industry.

Construction in action! 👷‍♀️👷🏾‍♂️

We spent the morning in Brent Cross Barnet Council with Glencar Construction and Cidori, introducing Gement Connect to their team and wider supply chain. It was great to meet companies like Rochford Construction Ltd. - a family run construction business that’s been part of the industry since 1986.

A huge thanks to our big construction partners like Glencar for giving us the space to meet their SME supply chains and share how CITB support can make a real difference in transforming their businesses.

We’ll be back with Glencar next week on 9th September across another of their London sites. 🙌

👷‍♀️👷‍♂️ It’s been a busy few weeks for the Gement team.

📍 From the Guildhall Jobs Fair in Stockport with our Manchester colleagues, to our London team who have been travelling in all directions for summer job fairs, apprenticeship support and ex-offender opportunities - we’ve been meeting, mentoring, and matching people with new opportunities!

We’re proud to continue championing our ex-HMP candidates, whose work ethic, determination and reliability are praised time and again by our employer partners.

We’re looking forward to sharing more success stories in our September update! 🙌
