Please don’t let a slow start convince you that it’s not going to happen.

We’ve had a lot of messages recently from crew who have completed their courses, arrived in yachting and are now struggling to find that first opportunity onboard ⚓️

And if that’s you right now, we want you to know something:

The fact that you haven’t found a boat yet does not mean you’ve failed.

It doesn’t mean you’re not good enough.
It doesn’t mean you made the wrong decision.
And it definitely doesn’t mean your opportunity isn’t coming.

What many crew don’t see is that some of the most successful people in this industry were once exactly where you are now.

Dockwalking.
Sending CVs.
Getting no replies.
Questioning themselves.
Wondering if they should give up.

The beginning is often the hardest part.

Not because you’re doing something wrong.

But because you’re trying to break into a highly competitive industry where timing plays a huge role.

Vessel: 35m Private/Charter MY
Location: Mediterranean
Start Date: ASAP

The Program

We are looking for a highly refined and experienced Chief Stewardess to lead a polished interior team of two on a wonderful 35m motor yacht. The owner is lovely and truly cares for the crew, but expects a high “large-yacht” calibre of service and presentation.

The itinerary is busy and exciting: a mix of owner trips (including family with young children) and back-to-back charters. The vessel will then cross to the Caribbean and Bahamas for the winter season.

The Profile

The ideal candidate is possesses a “can-do” attitude. You must be capable of hitting the ground running, assessing uniform needs, setting up operational standards, and managing high-level provisioning and guest preferences on the fly.

Experience: Proven longevity as a Chief Stewardess on 35m–40m+ vessels.

Skills: Strong provisioning relationships and the ability to organize a vessel quickly.

Package

Salary: €5,000
Contract: Permanent MLC (38 days leave—standard, subject to review).
Accommodation: Shared cabin with 2nd Stew.
Note: Temp-to-perm options may be considered for the right candidate.
