Our focus is on connecting exceptional crew with the right opportunities across the interior department, because the right person can make a huge difference to the entire onboard experience.

But before you accept, take a moment to look beyond the yacht, salary and itinerary.

1. Why is the position available?
Understanding why the previous crew member left can tell you a lot.

2. What is the crew dynamic actually like?
Not just how many crew are onboard, how long have they been there and how do they work together?

3. What will you actually be responsible for?
Make sure the role you’re being offered matches what you’ve been told during the interview.

4. What does progression look like?
Will this role help you move towards where you ultimately want your career to go?

5. What are your non negotiables?
Rotation? Leadership? Team culture? Programme? Career development?

Know yours before you accept.
Because the right job isn’t necessarily the one that’s available first.

It’s the one that’s right for you.

“I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this boat next season.”

Sometimes it’s because you’re no longer being challenged.
