This is a NEW ROLE within the company. This role sits within the eCommerce (Marketing) team.
Key focuses include managing the day to day running of Union’s acquisition channels; paid search, video, programmatic, shopping, paid social, affiliates, etc.
You will be instrumental in driving the sales and customer acquisition strategy. Managing both existing activities and also identifying and creating new channels for growth.
Job purpose:
To drive, grow and continually find opportunities for acquiring new customers to the online, Direct to Consumer proposition, whilst maximising long-term profitability.
A relentless focus on driving incremental sales revenue through off-site activity, paid advertising and partnerships, with a keen eye on analytical reporting and measuring against KPIs. All the while ensuring that the necessary structures are in place to keep the channel profitable.

-Duties and responsibilities
-Implementing and driving the acquisition growth plan and strategy for the 5 year business plan.
-Achieving required KPIs
-Plan and budget all acquisition campaigns with a focus on quality leads
-Manage all paid media channels; both in-house and via agencies
-Day to day optimization of paid accounts and bid management
-Daily Measuring and reporting on core metrics / KPIs (and acting on insights quickly)
-Identifying new areas of opportunity for growth
-Finding new partnership opportunities with like minded brands and affiliate networks
-Creating a discount / product structure to improve conversion rates
-Managing the acquisition Calendar
-Manage top of funnel brand campaigns for driving awareness
-Work closely with the wider eCommerce, content and Marketing teams on executing campaigns and strategies for growth
-Responsible for driving sign-ups to our email database
-Identify and report service KPIs to the wider business
-Ensure good communication across various stakeholders
-Maintain brand integrity and understand the restrictions of brand vs sales.
-Reflect brand values and support marketing campaigns
-Keep up to date with all latest advancements in the industry
Essential Skills & Experience
-Must have proven track record of digital sales and marketing results that have delivered business growth
-Minimum 3 years of experience (agency or client side)
-Experienced in all the main direct to consumer acquisition channels (PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Partnerships, etc.)
-Strong experience and understanding of online reporting tools such as Google
-Analytics & Shopify Reporting
-Analytical and numerically minded
-Able to think creatively
-Adept at Multi-Tasking
-Ability to Act independently and quickly
-Solid understanding of the digital direct to consumer landscape
-An articulate, team player with the ability to take the lead when required.
-Experience with SEO and CRO a plus
