Our client is a South London Borough council. They undertake all their tree maintenance work 'in house' with directly employed staff. They operate several teams of arborists and are currently looking to recruit a Second Climber undertaking the full range of tree work operations to all council owned trees.

Candidates must have certificates for aerial use of a chainsaw and ideally some industry experience as a climber. A driving licence is also desirable.

In return a PAYE rate of £14.67/hour is offered for the Second Climber for a 36 hour week plus 28 days holiday per year (inc Banks). Overtime is paid at enhanced rates. .This is a temporary rolling contract which may go permanent for the right candidate after a probationary period.

Our client is an environmental and property services company based in Harlow. They are now looking for an addtional Arborist to join their existing team to carry out tree works to Harlow Council tree stock and other commercial and domestic clients.

Candidates should have certificates for aerial use of a chainsaw and a driving licence.

In return an hourly rate of up to £14.23 is offered alongside a generous 34 days holiday allowance (including banks) .

🌲Arborists and Team Leader needed🌲Swindon 💷£30 to £38kpa

Our client is a successful national UK Grounds Maintenance Company with an Arb Approved Contracting division. Due to expansion they are looking for a Team Leader and an Arborist to join their existing team near Swindon. They are embracing the changes to tree work brought in by the new Codes of practice and this includes transitioning towards mechanical assistance.

Candidates will need certificates for aerial use of the chainsaw and Team Leaders should ideally have at least 5 years working experience as a climber within the industry and be confident in managing tree team processes, with excellent tree care knowledge.

In return a salary of between £30,000 and £38,000 pa is offered for a 40 hour week ( plus overtime available) alongside ongoing training and continuing professional development, PPE and climbing equipment.

Our client is a successful national UK Grounds Maintenance Company with an Arb Approved Contracting division. They are now looking to appoint an Arborist Team Leader to work out of their Norfolk depot in Thetford.

Candidates should have a working experience within the industry in a similar capacity and certificates for aerial use of the chainsaw.

In return a salary of between £34,000 and £38,000 pa is offered for a 40 hour week ( plus overtime available) alongside ongoing training and continuing professional development, PPE and climbing equipment

🌲TREE PLANTING OFFICER🌲BEDFORD 💷£19.23/hour

Our client is a local authority in Bedfordshire. They have a busy tree section and are looking to employ an additional Tree Officer to carry out a tree planting project.

The role will be to help deliver the Councils tree planting programme which will include both urban and woodland settings. You will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of the project; from the implementation stage of finding suitable land , stakeholder communications, purchasing of trees , planting and the aftercare programme.

Candidates ideally should have prior technical experience either as a Tree Officer or Tree Inspector and hold a level three qualification in arboriculture . However, candidates who have experience within Arboriculture, with a Level 3 qualification in Arb and who are looking for their first technical role will also be considered.

The position is expected to last for 20 months . A pay rate of £19.23 PH PAYE for a 37 hour week is offered.

Our client is a growing Arb contractor and landscaping company in Gloucestershire. Due to business growth they now require extra Arborists to help service their contracts in the South West, Wales and the Midlands.

Candidates should have certificates for aerial use of a chainsaw and a driving licence. Utility tickets are desirable but training will be provided if necessary.

In return a salary of between £26kpa and £36kpa is offered, dependant upon experience plus a bonus scheme and the use of a work vehicle for team leaders.
