Time to Talk Day.. lets talk mental health.
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing which are all factors in affecting how we feel, think and act. There are ways in which we can help take care of our mental health and talking is one of them. Time to Talk Day is all about creating supportive communities around you by having conversations about mental health with families, friends and colleagues.
Why is Time to Talk Day so important?
Talking about your mental health isn't a sign of weakness, it's about you taking control of your wellbeing. By opening up to someone, this could easily encourage someone else to do the same.
Here are some self care tips that you can do to look after your wellbeing:
Exercise
Chatting with friends
Doing activities you enjoy
Celebrate your successes
Take a break and make time for you!
