A fair bit of time in is spent moving between client locations. Saffron Hill today, always good to be working with Iceni Projects Limited (www.iceniprojects.com) and other fantastic teams delivering interesting and varied work across the UK.

LEAD Careers find it super useful seeing where people are actually based, especially when you’re working with practices involved in a wide range of projects across different sectors and it´s important if you intend to represent them properly.

Spending time around these locations means we can give landscape architects a much clearer picture of what day to day life would actually look like, from the role itself through to the setting, access and overall feel of the area.

Saffron Hill is one of those spots that’s easy to overlook at first, but once you’re there it makes a lot more sense. Central, well connected, and surrounded by everything you need.

My 14-year-old daughter has spent years telling us she wanted to feed a Highland cow (few and far between in Spain 😆 )
This was mission accomplished....The cow looked mildly inconvenienced.

Darcey has declared it the highlight of the holiday.

I just paid for the holiday... 🤷‍♂️😂

Still, it reminded me that everyone has ambitions. Some are small, some are career-changing. If one of yours is finding something that genuinely excites you, let's have a chat.

Turns out though, all it takes to make a Highland cow happy is an apple, and I've clearly been overcomplicating parenting for the last 14 years.

LEAD Careers spend a lot of time getting familiar with where landscape architects are actually based, so we can give more useful, real-world insight to the people we speak to. Wharf Road, N1 is a good example.

Old Street station only took us 5 minutes to get here, situated right behind the Texaco station. Essex Road, with Regent’s Canal right on the doorstep. was hard keeping Amanda Costello away from grabbing a signatory egg McMuffin from McDonald's right outside the front door!

It’s these details around access, setting and day to day surroundings that often end up making a real difference when considering a move.

Even on holiday, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I am to work in a profession that's built around landscapes. Every week I speak to talented landscape architects who help shape places like this, whether that's restoring natural environments, designing new public spaces, or balancing development with the landscape around it.

A fair bit of time in London is spent moving between client locations and today we´re at Saffron Hill. Always good to be working with teams delivering interesting and varied work across the UK.

It’s always useful seeing where people are actually based rather than just knowing it on paper, especially when you’re working with practices involved in a wide range of projects across different sectors.

Spending time around these locations means we can give landscape architects a much clearer picture of what day to day life would actually look like, from the role itself through to the setting, access and overall feel of the area.

Saffron Hill is one of those spots that’s easy to overlook at first, but once you’re there it makes a lot more sense. Central, well connected, and surrounded by everything you need.
