On this , we look with optimism at female talent in the offshore and onshore energy industry: women make up just 21% in wind, 32% in global renewables, with even lower presence in technical roles 28% and senior leadership 19%.

At Hydro Energy Group, we recognise that we are still part of this sector reality across both offshore and onshore fronts, but we also believe we can be an active part of the solution. Our commitment is to open more space for women to enter, grow, and lead at all levels of the organisation, especially in technical and operational roles where their presence remains minimal.

We don’t want to limit this day to a greeting, but to renew a commitment: to open more doors for women to enter, develop, and lead across the entire offshore and onshore energy value chain.

The UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is now mandatory for visa-free visitors from 25 February 2026. This digital permission to travel costs £16, is valid for two years, and must be obtained before departure.

For offshore contractors on UK rotations or travelling via Eurostar, having a valid ETA is essential. Without it, entry at the UK border will be refused.
