🌟Radfield Home Care launches new friendship and wellbeing initiative, with Memory Lane Cafés planned for 2027.
New community events will bring people together, build friendships and support wellbeing across Waterloo, Ormskirk and Crosby.
Radfield Home Care is delighted to announce the launch of a new quarterly Friendship Social and Wellbeing Event, designed to bring people together, encourage new friendships and help tackle loneliness within the local community.
The social event will take place on Thursday 22 October, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Royal Hotel in Waterloo. Guests will enjoy a afternoon buffet with entertainment and the hotel’s welcoming hospitality, providing a relaxed and friendly environment in which to socialise, meet new people and build lasting connections.🍂
With the first event already fully booked, the response reflects the value of creating opportunities for people to come together and enjoy meaningful social experiences.
The new quarterly initiative forms part of Radfield Home Care’s wider commitment to community engagement and supporting people to remain socially connected throughout the year, particularly during the winter months when loneliness and isolation can become more challenging.

Memory Lane Cafés coming in 2027
Building on its existing programme of coach trips and social events, Radfield Home Care is also preparing to launch its own Memory Lane Cafés in Ormskirk and Crosby in 2027, with further information expected in January 2027.
The planned cafés will aim to provide welcoming, supportive community spaces for people living with early-onset dementia, their loved ones and carers. 💙
They will also seek to encourage companionship, shared experiences and new friendships, helping people feel included and connected to their local communities.
