Promise loves working with children and young people because of the unique way they see and experience the world. He enjoys learning through their perspectives and celebrating the different lenses they bring ✨

Outside of work, Promise enjoys exploring different cultures and learning more about responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) combining curiosity, growth and a passion for understanding the world around him.

And what does he love most about Lupa Collective? The way we support our staff through challenging times and make sure our team’s training stays up to date.

Meet Rowland….. Rowland has worked for Lupa for 18 Months he is an exceptional role model for young people.
Drawing from his own life experiences, he has built a positive and fulfilling life surrounded by supportive friends and a passion for helping others.
Dedicated to creating stability and brighter futures for children, Rowland has worked diligently across education, classrooms, and children’s residential care.
Through witnessing first-hand the difference positive influences can make, he is committed to giving back and improving childhood experiences. His hard work, compassion, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire young people and demonstrate the lasting impact that strong role models can have.
Rowland biggest role model and inspiration in life has been his Dad and has been blessed to have such a strong presence in his life.

Recognising the Value of Unpaid Carers

During Carers Week, we recognise the extraordinary contribution of unpaid carers, whose compassion, dedication and emotional resilience support millions of people every day.

Behind every act of care is significant emotional labour.
Unpaid carers often balance complex responsibilities while navigating their own wellbeing, careers and family lives. Their contribution is invaluable not only to those they support, but to our communities and wider health and social care systems.

However, we must also challenge the misconception that carers should carry these responsibilities alone. Seeking support is not a sign of failure; it is a proactive step that enables carers to sustain their caring role while protecting their own health and wellbeing.

Access to respite, practical assistance and emotional support can make a meaningful difference. As professionals and organisations, we have a collective responsibility to ensure carers feel recognised, valued and empowered to ask for help when they need it.

To every unpaid carer: thank you. Your commitment, empathy and strength do not go unnoticed. And remember, accepting support is not about doing less it is about ensuring you have the support you deserve to continue doing so much.

One of the things we’re most proud of here at Lupa Collective is seeing our support workers become a genuine part of the teams they work alongside.

When people think of agency staff, they often imagine someone stepping in to cover a shift and then moving on. But that’s rarely the full story...

Many of our staff have built strong relationships within the services they support. They know the routines, understand the people they support, work closely with permanent colleagues, and become trusted members of the team.

We’ve seen staff welcomed into services where they are valued not because they are agency workers, but because of the consistency, professionalism, and care they bring every day.

We’re also grateful for the relationships we’ve built with our clients, who recognise that great support comes from collaboration. The most successful partnerships are those where agency and permanent staff work together with the same goal: delivering the best possible support for the people who rely on their services.
