A Heartfelt Farewell to Temp Recruitment …..💜

This is a post I never imagined I’d be writing just five months ago but after 11 incredible years of providing temp recruitment through TTS 24-7 Recruitment, I’ve made the decision to step away from this part of the industry.

It hasn’t been an easy call, and it certainly wasn’t in the plan, but sometimes life has a way of shifting our perspectives in the most unexpected ways.

With a new chapter fast approaching—becoming a mumma😍—I’ve chosen to prioritise what truly matters most: my family. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position to take some much-needed time away to be fully present for this special time in my life. It’s a feeling filled with gratitude, emotion, and excitement.

To all the amazing temps, my brilliant office team, and our loyal clients—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support, and for being such a big part of this journey. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with some incredible people, many of whom I now consider lifelong friends.

It's been a wild ride, with more highs and challenges than I can count—especially this past year, which has tested me in ways I never saw coming.

Although I’m stepping away from temp recruitment, I’m thrilled to have officially launched Orca Talent Solutions—, (some of you may have seen the posts over the last month or so) a brand that will allow me to continue doing what I love, but in a more tailored and balanced way.

Orca Talent Solutions will focus on partnering closely with clients to truly understand their values, cultures, and visions for the future. I’ll be helping them find candidates who align—not just with the job, but with the heart of their business. And for candidates, I’ll continue to offer a supportive space where they feel heard, valued, and guided into roles where they can truly thrive.

This week is full of mixed emotions. After being “24/7” for over 20 years, adjusting will take time—but if you know me, you know I never do things by halves. With just five weeks to go before the arrival of our little one, the schedule is still jam-packed, but my heart is full.

So, it’s not goodbye—just see you soon, in a new chapter. One where I’ll be a proud mumma and a more balanced recruiter, ready to embrace what’s next.

I just want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Nicola. I really appreciate everything you’ve done for me. Your support, guidance, and kindness have meant more than words can say. I’ll always be especially grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to return to work after being away for several years due to my own ill health and subsequently caring for my mum. It was a difficult and emotional chapter in my life and being able to step back into work was a huge milestone, one that you made possible with your encouragement and belief in me. That chance helped me rebuild my confidence and reminded me of the value I still had to offer.
What makes this even more special is that I’ve known you since you were a young teenager. You’ve been part of my family for many years, and to have had the opportunity to work alongside you has been a pleasure. Watching you grow into the amazing woman, leader, and soon-to-be mother you are today has been nothing short of inspiring. I couldn't be prouder of everything you’ve achieved.
It saddens me deeply to know that you’re stepping away from the temp side of the business and that our working relationship is coming to an end for the time being. You’ve been so much more than just an employer, you’ve been a mentor, a friend, and someone I will always admire for having the strength to constantly pick yourself back up when the going gets tough. Your ability to bring out the best in people has left a lasting impact on me and so many others.
Over the past year, I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know so many wonderful clients and the fantastic TTS team, many of whom will stay with me forever. It’s been such a joy working alongside such dedicated and kind-hearted people. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to one client in particular who has placed their trust in me and offered me the opportunity to continue working with them moving forward. I’m incredibly grateful for that trust and excited for what lies ahead.
Everything I’ve learned during my time with TTS has helped me grow so much, both personally and professionally. I hope to take all of those newly learned skills and give this next role the same level of care, commitment, and dedication that I have been so proud to give to you, Nicola.
Thank you again for everything. I wish you all the luck in the world as you start your new business venture, Orca Talent Solutions, which will see you move into more embedded recruitment, something you have long dreamed of. I also wish you nothing but happiness, love, and joy as you step into motherhood, a role I know you will take on with all the passion and commitment you’ve shown in every part of your life. I’m so looking forward to welcoming your little one, the newest addition to the family, with so much excitement. ❤️

✨Exciting News✨

The TTS 24-7 evolution is underway. The next chapter begins with Orca Talent Solutions and a new addition! 👶

After more than a decade running TTS 24-7 Recruitment, I’m excited to share the next step in my journey – both professionally and personally.

As many of you know recruitment is my absolute passion. It's about building genuine, lasting relationships and more than supporting businesses through their growth, I am invested in them. Just like the businesses we support; evolution is part of the process.

TTS 24-7 has been a brilliant chapter in my story – one filled with incredible clients, standout candidates, and partnerships I’ll always be proud of and hope to maintain indefinitely. For now, it’s time to build something new that reflects where I am today and where I want to go next.

As long-standing and trusted partners and candidates, it’s gives me such joy to share with you first my new venture –Orca Talent Solutions. It is a business shaped by everything I’ve learned over the years and built to deliver smarter, more collaborative hiring.

Orca Talent Solutions will focus on embedded recruitment – a model that allows me to work more closely and strategically with clients, placing people who align not just with the job, but with the culture and long-term goals of the business.

Even more exciting news to share – I am also preparing for a new arrival to my family 👶 (the best kind of new relationship 💕). This next chapter will allow me to balance both the things I care most about: meaningful work and motherhood.
