As we inch closer to a no deal Brexit, understandably concerns are increasing about the effect that this may have on the jobs market in Scotland. The website aims to help you understand current and future jobs in demand, the routes into into these jobs, and tips on having career conversations at the times that matter.

I hope everyone is staying safe on their commute home this afternoon? On a day like today, it is easy to see the benefits of flexible working arrangements or even a four day working week. The BBC recently published an article discussing union calls for the benefits of advances in technology being passed on to staff in the form of a shorter working week and how this has been successfully implemented at IndyCube in Cardiff. For the rest of us battling the elements today, I can only recommend a good pair of wellies, waterproof jacket and keeping your fingers crossed that roads are clear and buses are running....

The TUC is using its annual conference to call for a technology-enabled shorter working week.
