This week, we're shining the spotlight on Simona Ciocan!👏❤️

Simona is our Senior Contract Manager in Edinburgh and has been part of the Red Rock Partnership family since 2016. Her journey with us is a brilliant example of progression and development. She originally joined Red Rock Partnership working on the packing floor, before taking the next step into a Contract Support position in 2020.

In October 2024, Simona progressed into her role as Contract Manager, and just a few months later, in March 2025, she was delighted to take the next step in her career and become our Senior Contract Manager. ❤️

One of the things Simona enjoys most about her role is embracing challenges alongside her team and working collaboratively to meet our clients' requirements. There's always something new to solve, and she loves being part of a team that works together to find solutions and make things happen.

Outside of work, Simona loves getting creative in the kitchen, with baking sweets being one of her favourite ways to relax. From cakes to sweet treats, there's always something delicious coming out of the oven! 🧁🍰

Travel is another passion, with Italy and Spain among her favourite destinations. But when it comes to the most beautiful place in the world, there's no competition… Simona's home country of Romania will always have her heart. 🇷🇴❤️ She loves everything about it, from the food and people to the beautiful scenery and lovely weather.

Simona has also always had a huge love for animals.🐾 Although she doesn't currently have a pet because she knows just how much time and attention they deserve, there's a potential new addition to the family on the horizon! Her son has been hoping for a puppy for a very long time, and as he gets older, Simona is hoping that one day soon they might be able to welcome a four-legged friend into the family. 🐶❤️

For Simona, life is all about enjoying the journey. Continuing to grow in her career, spending time with the people she loves, discovering new places and always making time for the things that bring her happiness. 😊

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Ekaterina Petrova! 👏❤️

Ekaterina is our Contract Manager in Kent and has been part of the Red Rock Partnership family since April 2022. She joined us as a Contract Support and, within just a year, progressed into her current role as Contract Manager. Since then, she's continued to learn, grow and develop, and is incredibly proud of how far she's come. ❤️

Originally from Bulgaria, Ekaterina moved to the UK 13 years ago, initially thinking she would only stay for a few months. Somehow, those few months turned into 13 years! 😂🇧🇬🇬🇧

Outside of work, Ekaterina loves travelling, exploring new places and spending time with her family and friends. She's always happy to discover somewhere new, enjoy good company and, of course, try plenty of good food along the way! 🍽️✈️

But no matter how many places she visits, there's one destination that will always be closest to her heart… Bulgaria, and especially her hometown. Ekaterina grew up near a beautiful dam which remains one of her favourite places in the world. Whenever she returns home, she loves spending time with her family, enjoying lots of delicious food and, whenever she gets the chance, heading out for a spot of fishing. 🎣🌿

And finally, no introduction to Ekaterina would be complete without mentioning her two biggest loves, Mimo and Luchi. 🐱🐱 Her two cats are a very special part of her life and are always guaranteed to bring plenty of love and personality to her home.

Whether she's supporting clients, developing her career, exploring somewhere new, returning to her favourite place in Bulgaria or spending time with her family and two beloved cats, Ekaterina brings warmth, dedication and positivity to everything she does.

The countdown to Ben Nevis is officially ON! ⛰️

With just 18 days to go, our team of 19 are getting closer to taking on one of their biggest challenges yet. Climbing Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain, on 12th September.

And the training isn’t the only thing gathering momentum…

We’re incredibly proud to have now raised £2,472 of our £4,000 fundraising target for our chosen charity partner, Buddies Dementia Café. That’s more than halfway there! 🙌

After last year’s Snowdon challenge, the team set their sights even higher this year. Both literally and in terms of our fundraising ambition.

Our £4,000 target is double what we raised last year, and with just 18 days to go, every donation could help us get closer to that goal.

For our 19 climbers, the final countdown means more training, more preparation and, no doubt, plenty of conversations about just how steep those final climbs are going to be!

Most importantly, we’re doing it together… as a team, for a brilliant local charity and for a cause that makes a real difference to people living with dementia and their carers.

£2,472 raised. £1,528 to go. 18 days until Ben Nevis.

Let’s see if we can reach that £4,000 target before we reach the summit! 🏔️
