To us it’s not about how many people we can place, it’s about developing a lasting partnership with both our clients and candidates. We believe that recruitment is critical to get right, it’s success influences both a candidate’s career and also the future success of a business. We know that every company is different and no two production facilities are the same, each one has its own culture and ethos, ideas and innovations. Our continued success proves that we get it right, with clients and candidates returning to us again and again as their number one choice for recruitment. 🎄 Peak is coming… although it feels like it’s been here all year!

Getting ready for peak is a little different this year. For many of our manufacturing clients, peak has been ongoing for most of the year! 😅

But with Christmas now only 11 weeks away 🫨 we’re looking to add more Contract Maintenance Engineers to our fantastic team to support our manufacturing clients through the busy run-up to Christmas.

We’re looking for reliable, experienced engineers who are happy to get stuck in and support sites when they need an extra pair of skilled hands.

If you’re an engineer looking for some extra work before Christmas — or you know someone who might be — we’d love to hear from you.

📩 Drop us a message or get in touch with the Wagstaff team.

Wagstaff is 16 today! 🎉

If you’ve trusted us to help you hire, talked to us about your career, worked alongside us or simply cheered us on, thank you. You’ve helped make these 16 years what they’ve been.

I’m sure we’ll consume cake and maybe some Percy Pigs this week! 😊💚💛

🏆 Contractor of the Month 🏆

This month’s Contractor of the Month is a great example of everything we look for in a contractor.

A new client, a new site, a new location and a new contractor – and everything went smoothly from start to finish 🤩

Simply put "Aziken Goodluck has been brilliant!"

Well done, and thank you for doing such a great job! 😊

I’m currently recruiting for a Shift Production Manager to join a large, globally recognised food manufacturing business in Leicester.

This is very much a people-focused role, taking ownership of day-to-day performance, operational decisions and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone with strong people management experience who enjoys being visible, getting involved and driving improvements rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

If you’re a Production Manager, Shift Manager or experienced Production Supervisor looking for that next step, I’d love to hear from you.

📩 Drop me a message for more information.
