Currently working with an excellent client who manufacture and produce metal components for a variety of customers across the UK. They are incredibly business with a very large and secure order book.

At present they are looking to add to their Engineering Team by recruiting a Tool Designer. This may be a proven press tool designer or possibly a press toolmaker who is interested in tool design and would like to make the jump across.

Working within a fast moving Agency environment you will work closely with the wider team including fellow Designers and Project Managers to produce high quality design work.

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
*Taking projects from concept through to completion.
*Preparing files for production and ensuring artwork is accurate and well organised.
*Development of visual concepts across a range of projects
*Producing and amending design artwork across print and digital.
*Making design amends and refinements in response to feedback
*Organising and managing design files, assets, and templates.
*Maintaining brand consistency across different projects.
*Collaborating closely with colleagues and partners
*Contributing ideas and helping improve how we work
*Occasional site visits in the UK and abroad.

Requirements:
*Fully Mac literate in all the Adobe packages.
*Prior commercial experience working on both Print (Ideally large format) and Digital briefs.

They are looking for Toolmakers, working on new tooling plus maintenance and repair of existing press tooling

There are options of shifts: -

Working hours are based on a double day shift 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday – Thursday and 6am-1pm / 1pm-8pm on Fridays.

There is also a permanent night shift that works 8pm-6am Monday-Wednesday and 9pm-6am Thursdays.

12 hour rotation, 4 on 4 off 2x12 hour days (6am – 6pm) and 2x12 hour nights (6pm – 6am) Contracted to work all company shift patterns.

Reporting to the Shift Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the supervision of external contractors and service providers.

Purpose:
•Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken.
•Ensure SSoWs are applied, adhered to, and followed out consistently.
•Support and achieve PPM, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvement initiatives, Installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and any other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation.
•Supervision of external contractors and service providers.
•Interact with stakeholders.
•Interact with external bodies, suppliers, and contractors to achieve the above.

Responsibilities:
•Provide a high standard of multi-skilled (electrical) engineering support whilst working safely independently or as part of a team.
•Diagnose faults or point of failure, repair equipment to ensure safe operation.
•Engineer out equipment failures through continuous improvement.
•Plan, co-ordinated and execute installation and plant improvement projects.
•Provide support and input to plan/co-ordinate planned maintenance schedules, act on follow up repairs, source spares, complete and file documentation to audit standard.
•Provide shift, factory startup/shutdown cover as and when required.
•Specify & procure critical spares, be able to create requisitions to order.
•Report equipment issues, follow up works & spares requirements to the Shift Plant Engineer and report in the shift report.

Your duty will be to resolve efficiently and effectively the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance of manufacturing machines and associated value-added processes, attend breakdowns, log all work completed on the maintenance system. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance task in accordance with the maintenance plan.
Build strong key relationships with Department Managers and Shop floor operatives through clear concise communication. Be proactive in your approach to problems and subsequent counter measures. Follow all H&S legislation and company rules when undertaking the role.

Responsibilities:
*Carry out all duties within the scope of the Company mission/values and to support and encourage practices to meet this end.
*Carry out work in a safe manner, following correct procedure.
*Ensure all breakdowns are kept to a minimum.
*Follow best mechanical engineering practices.
*Ensure all planned work is completed with minimal disruption to production.
*Liaise with external suppliers for breakdowns.
*Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest standards.
*Carry out work to the highest standard and have pride in your work.
*Log all work carried out on maintenance system.
*Own all critical spares and ensure stock levels are maintained.
*All parts used or replaced are to be logged.

My client operates in the metals industry, privately owned and very successful, they are looking to add to their team.

The role will cover and involve: -
*Repairing / fabrication of bins / skips / roro bins.
*Liaising with suppliers / customers in relation to servicing / repairs / obtaining quotes / keeping on top of plant service schedules and PPM maintenance.
*Repairing heavy plant – 360 excavators, FLT etc., including maintenance / repairs on the main scrap shredder / hydraulic pumps / rams / PLC Equipment.
*There may be times where you will be required to work as part of a maintenance team outside of normal hours in the event of a major breakdown in the best interest of the company.
*You would be required to work closely with your MD / other on-site Management taking task instructions on a daily basis, distributing work requirements to relevant staff / contractors and reporting back positive / negative findings.
*You are also required to follow Company H&S Guidance, and instructions, and keep your maintenance equipment in good working order, and keeping your working areas clean & tidy.

Requirements: -
*They are looking for a ‘’hands on’’ electrically / hydraulic biased engineer, with knowledge of fabricating /Mig / Arc welding activities.
*Competent engineering background required that can work, leading a team, Giving / taking instructions to carry out daily tasks.
*Using on site welders, MIG, TIG, ARC.
*Gas cutting, for repairs and fabrication purposes.
*Occasional working from drawings.
Fault finding / repairing on site issues, hydraulic / electrical.

Working hours are: - Monday – Friday 07.30am – 5.30pm
Saturday 07.00am - 12.00pm (at least 2 per month or as required in line with maintenance requirements.)

CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator, West Bromwich, £Neg.

My client is an established manufacturing company supporting customers in a wide range of industries.

Accountabilities:
*Day-to-day running of the CNC lathes making sure production output matches the requirements of the build plan.
*Desirable that you have knowledge of setting up and operating Haas and Dugard VMC machines, although this is not essential.
*You will be responsible for job changeovers/tool changes & the swift assistance to any breakdowns on the machines in the area.
*It is your responsibility to ensure correct procedures are followed at all times with regards to ‘first offs’ of each part run, making sure first offs are taken into and signed off by the Quality Dept.
*Ensure the lathes are set and running before they leave each day with clear instruction left for the operator on the following shift.
*Booking all work manufactured onto the MRP System in real-time, as well as ensuring works orders are added to each bin of work produced.
*Responsible for always keeping CNC lathe area clean and tidy, making sure all parts are kept in the correct place daily.
*Keeps a check on all stocks of tooling and raises any new tool requirements as early as possible to maintain tool inventory.
*Ensure that the Team Leader is kept informed of all problems in the department.
*Provide support to the Team Leader in providing training and guidance to new operatives within the department, to maximize efficiency of production.
*Carry out any tasks within the scope and abilities of the function other than those listed above.

Requirements:
*Knowledge in setting and programming CNC lathes.
*Ideally knowledge of Haas or Dugard VMC (Fanuc controlled).

Rotating Shifts – 6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday. Weekly Pay.
