My client is an engineering company who have been in operation for a number of years. With an excellent reputation within their industry, they are looking to recruit a new member to their team

The successful candidate will ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality working environment within the plant by developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, environmental, and quality systems. You will ensure legal compliance, reduce operational risks, and maintain product quality standards associated with the company and its processes.

Skills & Experience: -

Understanding of ISO 9001, internal auditing, and quality control processes.
Strong communication, training, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications: -
NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001) or willingness to train (highly desirable).
Experience in steel or similar industries is highly advantageous.

My client is an established manufacturing company who are looking to add to their team. This is a physical role (Packing / Unpacking plus some production / assembly work) as well as liaising closely with the office team.

Responsible for the location, allocation, and movement of all parts and products to fulfil all internal and external customer orders and outgoing shipments. Verification of all materials as they are received into the stores area checking both product type and quantity. Responsible for visual quality inspection of all goods prior to delivery. Responsible for correct delivery of parts, with correct labelling, quantities and evidencing.

Duties: -
*Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers.
*Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
*Ensure all received stock/sub-contract work is undamaged, and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
*Responsible for visual quality inspection of all goods prior to delivery.
*Ensuring the Procurement Dept are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
*Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements.
*Maintain a safe working environment.
*Delivery and collection of product and material as required.
*Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company. To comply with the requirements of the integrated management system (IMS) (ISO 9001:2015 ISO 45001:2018).

Candidate Requirements: -
*Basic IT skills.
*FLT/Counterbalance licence.
*Physically fit and able.

Hours – Mon-Thur (4 days – 39 hours) – 7.00am to 5.15pm.

Currently working with an excellent client who manufacture and produce metal components for a variety of customers across the UK. They are incredibly business with a very large and secure order book.

My client is a well-established manufacturing / engineering company. They are looking to recruit a proven press tool maker for their in-house tool room due to retirement.

Reporting to the Tool Room Manager, the Press Tool Maker is responsible for the hands-on manufacture, build, try-out, repair, and preventive maintenance of press tooling across the company.

The role demands a high level of craft skill, precision, and practical engineering judgement, and is central to the company’s ability to bring new tooling into service reliably, maintain the productivity of the press shop, and protect the long-term value of its tooling assets. The Tool Maker works in close partnership with the Press Tool Design Engineer and provides practical expertise that feeds back directly into the design process.

Manufacture & maintain multi-stage press tooling including progression and multi-slide tools, jigs & fixtures — including punch plates, die plates, st*****rs, pilots, guides, and ancillary components — using conventional and CNC machining, surface grinding, jig boring and hand fitting. Wire erosion and spark erosion advantageous. Ideally time served apprenticeship.

This role is permanent; you will work your hours over 4 days Monday to Thursday.

12 hour rotation, 4 on 4 off 2x12 hour days (6am – 6pm) and 2x12 hour nights (6pm – 6am) Contracted to work all company shift patterns.

Reporting to the Shift Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the supervision of external contractors and service providers.

Purpose:
•Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken.
•Ensure SSoWs are applied, adhered to, and followed out consistently.
•Support and achieve PPM, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvement initiatives, Installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and any other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation.
•Supervision of external contractors and service providers.
•Interact with stakeholders.
•Interact with external bodies, suppliers, and contractors to achieve the above.

Responsibilities:
•Provide a high standard of multi-skilled (electrical) engineering support whilst working safely independently or as part of a team.
•Diagnose faults or point of failure, repair equipment to ensure safe operation.
•Engineer out equipment failures through continuous improvement.
•Plan, co-ordinated and execute installation and plant improvement projects.
•Provide support and input to plan/co-ordinate planned maintenance schedules, act on follow up repairs, source spares, complete and file documentation to audit standard.
•Provide shift, factory startup/shutdown cover as and when required.
•Specify & procure critical spares, be able to create requisitions to order.
•Report equipment issues, follow up works & spares requirements to the Shift Plant Engineer and report in the shift report.
