👋 Meet Jen, Owner and Director of Deluxe Recruitment!

Since we started Deluxe back in 2019, Jen has played a huge part in building the business into what it is today.

As well as running her own salon, she's heavily involved in the day-to-day running of Deluxe, often doing a lot of the work that people don't see.

From managing our finances and compliance to supporting client relationships, driver onboarding, recruitment systems and marketing, Jen has her hands in pretty much everything.

She's also been a driving force behind some of the exciting developments we've been working on recently, including our new driver availability app, website and the launch of Deluxe Training.

Deluxe Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency, actively recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers throughout the UK.

Days, Nights & Tramping work with various start times available.

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E license
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Minimum 1 year of recent HGV driving experience required
- Ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and client guidelines.

Drivers' hours aren't the exciting part of the job, but an infringement can cost you your licence, and the operator a lot worse. The ones that catch people out most.

Not taking your full break, or splitting it wrong.

Forgetting mode changes on the tacho, so other work looks like driving, or rest.

Running over on daily driving without logging the reason.

Losing track across the week and blowing the fortnightly limit.

None of it is hard once you're on top of it. But the tacho remembers everything, and "I didn't realise" isn't a defence.

Rusty on the rules? Worth a refresher before it's a roadside fine.
