A single word, "refit", describes projects that differ from one another by a factor of 50, hiding a massive gap in scope, cost, and complexity under one label.

How to exceed expectations and showcase your true personality.

Once you walk through the door, the standard has already been set by your physical presentation. Now, the interview begins, and in private service, the dynamic is unlike any traditional working environment.

You are interviewing to work inside someone’s personal home, or private office. Due to the nature of this, principals and household managers evaluate candidates on two distinct levels: their technical capability and cultural fit.

In elite private service, expectations extend beyond your CV. Employers are observing how you react.

✨ Can you maintain grace, poise, and professional boundaries under scrutiny?

✨ Can you balance warmth and personality while maintaining strict professional boundaries?

It's always important to remember to read the room, and not to try and lead the room. Allow the principal or hiring manager to dictate the tone.

Another thing we look for is absolute discretion. Don't name-drop past principals or share sensitive details from previous roles. In this industry discretion is assumed, but loose talk in an interview is an immediate red flag.

We are looking for a Head of Guest Services to join a world-class team in the Caribbean, reporting directly to the Experience Director.

Highlights of the role:

⚡ Located in the Caribbean

🤝 Act as the primary liaison between estate managers and the team.

Spain brings home the 🏆⚽️

Last night, Spain were crowned the 2026 World Cup Champions after weeks of intense tournaments, and the news has the office buzzing this morning!

With our HQ in Mallorca and our remote team spread across Europe, and beyond, we were never going to agree on who to back 😅

During the semis, a few of us still had hope England could go all the way… but there wasn’t a single person in the team who wasn’t thrilled to watch Spain take home the trophy last night 🙌

We headed down to the port in Andratx to celebrate with the locals, and honestly? The atmosphere said it all. 🥳
