We’re still looking for a Support Worker in Leicester (LE3).

This is an ongoing opportunity to support a male client in his family home and occasionally out in the community. The role involves providing calm, reliable and empathetic support with daily routines, activities and trips out.

We’re looking for someone who is patient, dependable and comfortable working as part of a team. Previous support work experience or experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs is preferred.

You must have a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as you may be required to drive the client to activities and appointments. Mileage is paid.

Location: Leicester, LE3
Pay: £13.21 per hour + £1.59 holiday pay
Hours: Varied shifts on a rota basis, with the majority of shifts starting at 7.00am
Duration: Ongoing
Hours available: Part-time or full-time

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

We’re still looking for an Applications Engineer in Wigston!

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased Engineer looking for a full-time role with the potential to become permanent.

The role involves providing technical support and product recommendations, preparing quotations and technical information, working with suppliers and partners, and producing engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

We’re looking for someone qualified to at least HNC level, or with equivalent industry experience. Good IT skills and experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks would be advantageous.

Location: Wigston, South Leicestershire
Pay: £12.98 per hour + £1.57 holiday pay
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Duration: Temporary for a minimum of 12 weeks, with the potential to become permanent

Please note this role is not based at DMU and applicants must be able to reliably commute to Leicester.

You’ll be chatting to students, handing out information, answering basic questions and encouraging students to sign up using a QR code. You’ll be given a branded GP Surgery T-shirt and everything you need for the role.

No previous experience is needed. You just need to be approachable, reliable and comfortable talking to new people.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly Public Engagement & Creative Assistants to join DMU’s Talent 25 team!

You’ll help deliver creative workshops across Leicester, supporting children and families to take part in fun and engaging arts and cultural activities. You’ll work alongside creative practitioners and help make sure sessions run smoothly, from welcoming families and setting up activities to supporting the workshops themselves.

The role includes:
• Supporting creative sessions and activities
• Welcoming and assisting families
• Setting up and packing away venues
• Taking registers and monitoring attendance
• Providing feedback to the Talent 25 team
• Helping create a safe, friendly and welcoming environment

Previous experience working with children, young people or families is preferred, along with an interest in creative and cultural activities.
