Kidding… What do you take us for?!
1) Exercise; a walk in the morning or at the end of your working day helps differentiate from the two. I think its important to have something that stops your mind being in work mode, or at the very least not feel like you have gotten up and gone straight to work. 🏃🏻♀️
2) A loose routine; Something as simple as ‘walk before work around the block, start work at 8am, lunch at 12, finish at 5.30pm, bath, read a book and have dinner at 7.30pm’.⏰
3) Get dressed; Have your home working attire ready the night before, even if it is just a jumper and leggings.👔
4) Dedicated work space; Even if you’re working at your kitchen table, get in the habit of putting your papers away, closing it all down and keeping it tidy. Then leave that area and do not sit back at it until you start work again the next day. Starting work and having papers/post it notes everywhere will just set you off on a bad footing.⚖️
5) Change clothes; At the end of the day, have a bath or a shower and get into your loungewear clothes, it just helps get rid of the working day and make you feel like you have ‘gone home’ not just simply walked downstairs.👗
