We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join great team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components and products following technical instructions or diagrams
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely
Maintain a clean and organised workstation
Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
Meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety practices
Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 6.30am-3pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break), Friday - 6.30am-2pm.
Total of 39 hours paid per week.
£12.71 per hour starting pay
