We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering business developing innovative thermal management systems.

Working as part of a small, highly skilled team, you'll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to prototyping, testing and final delivery.

*Salary £35,000-£40,000 - we're looking for 3-5 years experience for this role.

ABOUT YOU

We're interested in engineers who enjoy tackling challenging problems and working independently to find practical solutions.

You'll have:
-A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related discipline
-Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Onshape or similar
-3+ years experience post graduation and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
-Hands-on experience of prototyping, product development and testing
-Knowledge of engineering drawings, documentation and design standards
-Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to engineering challenges
-The confidence to work from broad briefs and make informed engineering decisions
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-A proactive mindset and genuine desire to learn and develop
-Experience within thermal management, heat exchangers, HVAC, electronics cooling, FEA, CFD or bespoke product development environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.

The package includes:

*Salary between £24,784.50 - £27,000.00 based on experience.
*Employers Pension Contributions
*21 days annual leave + bank holidays.
*Office-based role, on the outskirts of Bradford
*37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9-5 (with some flexibility to start and finish earlier if agreed) with half an hour for lunch.
*The company has a free onsite car park and is located within easy walking distance of the bus network.

What you will need to succeed as a Sales and Operations Support Administrator:

-Ideally you will have experience in a similar business administration role.
