Our client seeks a Tax Senior, you will manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, delivering high quality advisory services across a wide range of complex tax planning areas. This is a pure advisory role. They are seeking an ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified (or part qualified) professional with experience in corporate tax within a practice environment and a strong interest in advanced planning work.

Although their head office is based in Manchester city centre, their teams are nationwide and therefore this is a hybrid you will join a collaborative team and gain exposure to significant advisory projects spanning corporate with some personal, and family wealth planning. You will gain exposure to corporate tax planning matters including group restructures, reorganisations, demergers, management buyouts, EOTs, valuations, profit extraction strategies (including BADR and loan note planning), and due diligence work.

You will learn how to provide guidance on optimal business structures, including partnership formations, incorporations, trade vs investment company planning, and preferred structure analysis. You will also support clients through transactions, including buying and selling businesses, with clear advice on tax implications and strategic planning.

Our client is a global manufacturing group. They seek a key hire to join an established tax team. this role reports to the Head of Tax and manages a team of staff. They are looking for someone with a strong eye for detail who can also take practical, commercial decisions without getting bogged down in the weeds. A ‘can do’ attitude is key. Day to day this includes:
The role is responsible for leading and reviewing the accurate and timely reporting of the Group’s corporate and deferred tax positions, covering actuals, forecasts, and budget cycles. This includes ensuring high quality internal tax data and compliance with external reporting requirements.
The position manages the UK corporate tax return process, reviews the UK CFC and R&D relief claims, and ensures all UK tax obligations are met to a high standard.
Provides tax support and advice to the Group’s network of shadow tax managers and also other financial managers on tax matters as appropriate.
Provides expert tax oversight on material, unusual, or one off transactions across the Group, ensuring risks are managed and compliance obligations are fully addressed.
Working closely with the Head of Tax, the role supports the design and implementation of corporate restructuring initiatives to optimise the Group’s tax profile, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
The role ensures ongoing compliance with BEPS requirements, including review of CbCR data and management of Pillar 2 reporting and compliance.
Would suit an experienced corporate tax professional with large group experience gained either in a large accountancy firm or industry. Likely you will be senior manager or director level.

Our client is a large independent firm with offices throughout the UK, they seek an enthusiastic and technically astute tax person to support the wider Tax Advisory department in the firm, with some compliance support included.

The role is to support the Tax Partners advise, deliver and implement effective advisory planning to SME businesses and their owners, as well as high net worth and other personal tax clients across a wide range of personal and business tax projects.

The position can be based from offices located across Northwest/Yorkshire and with expectation to attend meetings and team debriefs both via Teams and in person in line with the business needs across the region. Office locations include Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse, St Helens and Sheffield.
The role focuses on supporting the Tax Partners and clients through a variety of tax planning advisory projects including:
For corporate advisory: restructures, mergers, demergers, acquisitions, Management Buy outs or Buy ins, HMRC clearance applications, liquidations, due diligence support, exit planning, etc.
For corporate compliance: capital allowance reviews, rollover relief claims, large corporate tax compliance such as group loss relief claims, transfer pricing adjustments, corporate interest restriction, quarterly instalment payments, etc.
For personal tax and business clients: incorporation of sole traderships or partnerships, capital gains tax advice on disposal or acquisition of assets, EMI planning, other employee share option or share scheme arrangements, SEIS/EIS planning, Family Investment Company and other Estate management projects, high level IHT and Estate planning, etc.
Our client would not necessarily expect the candidate to have a detailed knowledge of all of the above areas but a detailed knowledge of some as well as high level knowledge of others is desirable, with opportunity to develop new skills across all areas.
The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of mixed tax or corporate or personal tax. You will be based in the North of England and happy to do some travelling between offices. This role is hybrid, minimum 3 days in the office. An excellent opportunity with a clear chance for progression, would consider a manager looking for a promotion or someone with a more compliance background looking to move into advisory work. The key thing they are looking for is someone who genuinely enjoys technical work, report writing and who has sound attention to detail.

Our client is a large accountancy firm and they seek managers and senior managers to join a new tea specialising in Pillar 2 work.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team managing the compliance which is prepared by other team members, dealing with the client relationships and liaising with Revenue Authorities. You will be involved in project work and continuous improvement of client's processes and systems as well as the firm's. It is likely you will have a corporate tax background gained in industry or a large accounting firm.

You will have dealt with large international groups throughout your career. This firm has an exceptional portfolio of FTSE 100's, multinationals and household name clients. You will be at the forefront of a new area of tax and there is plenty of scope for progression.

To oversee the timely and effective completion of tax projects primarily focused on personal tax planning, such as Inheritance Tax, including the use of Trusts, Family Investment Companies, and the use of bespoke wills. Implementing agreed strategies to reduce tax liabilities, whilst identifying further tax mitigation opportunities. Developing detailed project plans with clear timelines and deliverables, whilst also reviewing detailed tax analysis of projects being completed by other members within the team, to ensure strict adherence to current tax legislation and ethical standards. Obtaining HMRC clearances. Maintaining strong client relationships by providing strategic tax advice and clear communication throughout each project’s lifecycle. You will also have management responsibilities, helping to develop and supervise more junior staff. This role can be hybrid worked (4 days in the office) from either Leeds or Coventry.
