📍 Location: Bridgend, Glamorgan

💷 Pay: £14.42 per hour

📄 Contract: Temp to Perm (for the right candidate)

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5T Home Delivery Drivers for our client based in Bridgend.

🕒 Shifts:
Any 4 days out of 7 (Monday–Saturday)
3-week rota
06:00 starts
Average 11.25-hour shifts

📦 The Role:
You’ll be delivering furniture directly into customers’ homes as part of a 2-person team.
Items can be heavy (up to 150kg total / 98kg per part), so good manual handling skills are essential.
This is a customer-facing role, so we’re looking for individuals who are polite, professional, and able to work under pressure to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

✅ Requirements:
Valid UK Driving Licence
Digi Tacho Card
7.5T entitlement (newly qualified drivers welcome!)

✔ Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
✔ Refuse/cleansing experience (desirable)
✔ Commitment to Health & Safety and teamwork

Your role:
• Drive Council vehicles safely
• Complete daily cleansing duties

Drivers are required to move the pallets to the tail lift using a pump truck, a forklift will unload from there 🚛🚛🚛

Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card ✅
Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work ✅
Good Geographical Knowledge✅
Minimum of 6 Months experience Driving class 1 in the UK ✅
Excellent communication skills ✅
Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license ✅
