Confident Young Minds is a Yorkshire based children’s charity dedicated to improving emotional wellbeing, confidence, and resilience in young people up to the age of 18.

They believe every child should leave school with the emotional intelligence they need to cope with life, build healthy relationships, and reach their potential.

Too many young people struggle with confidence, emotional understanding, and mental wellbeing, often without the right support in place. Their work exists to change that.

Amanda has been to Unity in Community HU6 to speak to some of the carpentry learners about Self Employment this morning.

We spoke about the pros & cons of running your own business and the skills required. We hope to see some of the learners in the near future at our workshops, and to give them support in starting their own business.
