Travis Barker is an absolutely outstanding, generational talent, and after watching his brilliant documentary, I have even more respect for him.

But… sorry, Travis, this is exactly why we don’t produce glossy drumheads! 😅

That huge reflection across the artwork is most likely caused by a glossy vinyl overlay catching the stage lights. At RockStarSkins, we print directly onto the drumhead with a much more stage-friendly satin finish, helping the design remain clear and visible under even the brightest lighting.

Travis, please ask your people to give us a shout next time! 🤣

Dropping off the latest custom drumheads for the Metal Gods themselves, Judas Priest, as they head into pre-production over the next few days.

Great to catch up with my old mates Mark, Martin and the rest of the team. The whole Judas Priest crew are always such a pleasure to work with, genuinely lovely people, and a privilege to have known them for so many years.

Choosing the right print method matters. Our heads are Directly Printed onto the surface of a single-ply premium-quality drumhead, which means all the head's resonance is maintained and not choked by a vinyl sticker that can peel up. Our print is also a satin effect and not overly glossy, so it shows up much better under a stage light.

We have been printing drumheads for 20 years, with clients such as Queen, Judas Priest, Robbie Williams, RedBull, and The Darkness.
