Neonatal Care Leave Law Coming in April 2025🚨

The Government has officially announced that the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act will come into force on 6 April 2025. This means eligible employees will have a statutory right to paid neonatal care leave, giving parents much-needed support when their baby requires hospital care.

Many businesses already offer some form of neonatal leave, but now is the time to review your policies and ensure they meet the new legal requirements. If your business doesn’t currently have a neonatal care leave policy, it’s essential to prepare for these changes before the deadline.

New Acas Guidance on Neurodiversity at Work📢

Creating an inclusive workplace means recognising that everyone thinks and processes information differently. Acas has published new guidance to help employers better understand and support neurodiversity at work.

With greater awareness of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent conditions, businesses must ensure they are creating a neurodiverse-friendly workplace. This includes making reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 to support neurodivergent employees.
