Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for collecting and delivering our customers’ products in line with our agreed service levels, whilst ensuring a professional service throughout.
Learning about the regulations surrounding Drivers’ Hours, Tachographs and Working Time legislation to ensure both compliance and safety standards are adhered to.

Qualifications

Applicants must be extremely flexible as hours will vary from day to day. Early starts, late finishes and some Nights Out, which sometimes happen without any notice. Night Out payment and Bonuses in Place.
Also be required to cover the Work during Bank holidays with good Pay.

Must be reliable and trustworthy

Good timekeeper

Takes responsibility for own actions and decisions

Self motivated

Understands customer contact interaction

Team player

Able to take instruction easily

All job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and 5 year employment reference checks.

Valid HGV 1 licence with no more than 6 Points

1 years or more experience of driving Class 1 vehicles. New drivers also welcome with training in place.

Drivers Digi card and CPC essential

Aviation Security CO trained (old Level D) preferred

No DD/DR/CD endorsements

Plenty of opportunity to earn overtime

Monthly paid (overtime paid in arrears)

Bonuses are in place for no damage to vehicles and weekly attendance

Opportunity for professional development, with a variety of roles within our logistics company for you to grow into.

Self Employed rates Up to £17.00

Safe and fuel-efficient driving is rewarded as is care of your truck, either with monetary bonuses or in the form of a newer truck when the fleet is updated.
