We had a fantastic day in Invergordon onboard the Shelf Drilling Fortress, seeing first-hand the preparations underway before it heads out for its next drilling campaign.

It was a great opportunity for three members of our team to step onboard a drilling rig for the very first time and experience the offshore environment.

Being able to see the scale of the rig, meet the crew and gain real insight into the people and operations behind offshore drilling gave us a perspective you simply canโ€™t get from a distance.

A huge thank you to the team onboard the Fortress for the warm welcome and for taking the time to show us around.

Weโ€™re proud to support the people and businesses that keep our industry moving, and visits like this give our team an even greater appreciation of the work our candidates and clients do offshore.

A change of pace for the team this week, with our team swapping the office for the bowling green.

A few showers didnโ€™t get in the way of some healthy competition, nor did our resident pro bowler Lee's ability (after an oven glove was introduced in an attempt to level the playing field).

From 1 June, the offshore summer clothing standard comes into effect.

For travel in UK waters, a minimum of 2 layers must be worn under survival suits until 30 September. Hooded items remain prohibited due to survival suit seal requirements.

Following on from our earlier announcement in April, Drillmar Resources would like to congratulate a further cohort of trainees who have successfully completed workshop and classroom-based ๐—ก๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—™๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น T๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด in ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฌ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต.

We are delighted to continue offering young people the opportunity to begin their careers in the energy sector, and in particular to support opportunities within the local area.

This cohort will now commence an 18-month development programme, and we wish them a safe and successful career. We also look forward to seeing their continued progress and development.

Drillmar Resources are pleased to continue supporting the introduction of new talent into the energy sector.

Last week, the first group from our 2026 trainee cohort successfully completed their workshop and classroom-based Nitrogen Fundamental training.

They will shortly commence an 18-month development programme, during which they will work alongside and learn from experienced personnel, many of whom began their careers through the same programme.

We wish them a safe and successful career and look forward to seeing their continued progression.
