📆 Seasonal Winter Work

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for reliable, consistent and guaranteed work throughout the winter?

Paxton Personnel are recruiting drivers to support winter road operations across Inverness.

❄️ What will you be doing?
Depending on the position, duties may include:

🚜 Gritting roads
❄️ Snow ploughing
🚛 General road assistance
🛣️ Supporting winter maintenance operations
🌨️ Helping keep main and local roads safe during adverse weather
🕐 Shift Pattern

These are frontline winter operations roles, working on a rotational basis:

➡️ One week of nights
➡️ One week of days

You will also be expected to be on standby when required.

✅ What you need
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Relevant HGV driving experience
Ability to work outdoors in challenging winter conditions
Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
Willingness to work away from home

As much as we don’t want to admit it, winter is looming at the door! And here at Paxton Personnel, we’re gearing up for what’s set to be a very busy season.

We’re looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our winter operations across some of Scotland’s most stunning locations:

📍 Fort William
📍 Inverness
📍 Ardelve

And this isn’t your typical driving job…

🌲 Fancy a change of scenery?
🏔️ Enjoy working in the great Scottish outdoors?
🚐 Have your own campervan or caravan and don’t mind working away from home?
Then this could be right up your street!

🚛 What will you be doing?

You’ll be part of the team helping keep Scotland moving throughout the winter months, including:

❄️ Gritting roads
🚜 Snow ploughing
🛣️ General road assistance
🏔️ Helping keep main roads and side roads safe during challenging winter conditions
🏕️ Working away from home?

Ardelve: Accommodation is provided.

Inverness & Fort William: Accommodation is not provided, so these locations are ideal for drivers with their own campervan, caravan or suitable accommodation, who fancy changing up their usual working environment.

There will be a variety of shift patterns depending on the role, including 4-on/4-off nights and a mixture of day and night shifts.

🚐 VAN DRIVERS REQUIRED – INVERNESS

Start date: Monday 7th September

We are looking for reliable Van Drivers to join our team in the Inverness area.

💷 Pay: £13.50–£14.00 per hour
⏰ Start times: 06:30–08:00
📅 Monday–Friday / varied shifts
🕐 Approximately 8–10 hours per day

The roles involve working with a variety of customers and completing a mixture of delivery duties, including:

📦Multi-drop deliveries of industrial goods
💊Medical supply deliveries
📦Parcel deliveries
👉Deliveries to both private and commercial addresses

You will need to be reliable, professional and customer-focused, with good local knowledge of the Inverness area being an advantage.
