Paxton Personnel are recruiting experienced Cat C (HGV 2) Drivers to support frontline winter operations in Fort William from November through to April.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for reliable, consistent and guaranteed seasonal work, helping to keep roads safe throughout the winter months.

🚛 THE ROLE
Depending on the position, duties may include:

🧂 Gritting roads
❄️ Snow ploughing
🚧 General road assistance
🛠️ Supporting winter maintenance operations
🛣️ Helping keep main and local roads safe during adverse weather
⏰ SHIFT PATTERN
These are frontline winter operations roles, working on a rotating pattern of a week of nights followed by a week of days.

Standby availability will also be required, including weekends and during periods of severe weather.

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Valid Cat C (HGV 2) licence
Relevant driving experience
Comfortable working outdoors in challenging winter weather
Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
Reliable and able to commit to the winter season
Willingness to work away from home if required

We’re looking for an experienced Plant & Fleet Mechanic to join their team, responsible for keeping company plant, vehicles and equipment safe, reliable and ready for operation.

🔧 The Role
Servicing, repairing and maintaining plant and fleet

Planned and preventative maintenance

Fault finding and diagnostics

Attending sites when required

Completing maintenance records and paperwork

General mechanical/engineering duties

Hydraulics, electrics and welding experience would be an advantage
