19 March – A Day to Remember

22 years ago today, our Directors and many of our team stood at Forward Assembly Area Barnsley in the Kuwaiti desert, preparing to cross the breach into Iraq. The night before the invasion was filled with anticipation, uncertainty, and resolve. We were young. We were determined. We were proud. We were soldiers.

Tonight, we pause to remember:

🇬🇧 Those who left and never came home. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

🇬🇧 The families and loved ones who waited anxiously, hoping for our safe return. Their strength was our foundation.

🇬🇧 Those who still carry the physical and unseen scars of war. Their battles continue, and they are never alone.

What we experienced shaped us forever. The bonds forged in the desert, the lessons learned in hardship, and the resilience built in adversity—these remain with us to this day.

Time moves on, but today, we stand together in remembrance and respect. We will never forget.

🚨 Crime Prevention Advice: Protecting Your Vehicle & Tools 🚐🔧

At Blueline Security, we’ve seen firsthand how opportunistic thieves target vehicles—especially vans carrying valuable tools. Here are some tips to help you keep your belongings safe and out of criminal hands:

🔒 Lock It or Lose It

• Always lock your vehicle, even if you’re stepping away for just a moment. An unlocked door is an open invitation for thieves.

💡 Light It Up

• Park in well-lit areas whenever possible. Motion-sensor lights near your driveway or parking space can make thieves think twice.

🧰 Tools Out, Trouble Out

• Remove tools from your van overnight if possible. If you can’t, use a secure lockbox bolted inside the van to keep them safe.

🎯 Don’t Be a Target

• Avoid leaving anything visible in your vehicle—tools, bags, or even loose change. Thieves are looking for quick wins, and visible items are a magnet.

🛠️ Mark & Track Your Tools

• Mark your tools with your name or business details using engraving or a permanent marker.
• Use tool-tracking technology to keep tabs on your valuable equipment.

📱 Install Security Tech

• Invest in an alarm or immobilizer for your vehicle. For added security, dash cams or CCTV systems are great deterrents.

👀 Be Vigilant & Report Suspicious Activity

• If you see someone acting suspiciously around vehicles, don’t hesitate to report it to the police and your local security team (that’s us!).

Remember: Prevention is key. Thieves are always looking for easy opportunities—don’t give them one! Let’s work together to make our communities safer.

🚨🎄 Blueline Christmas Eve Patrol Update 🎄🚨

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the town,
Blueline patrols are rolling around.
While stockings are hung and mince pies are prepped,
We’ll be out there making sure everyone’s slept.

Our patrols are heading out tonight, keeping a close watch on high-priority areas and making sure everyone can enjoy a peaceful Christmas Eve. We’ll be checking chimneys for intruders (Santa gets a free pass, of course) and ensuring no Grinches sneak off with your festive feast.

Remember, we’re out 365 nights a year, rain, shine, or snow – keeping our community safe while you cozy up by the fire.

Stay warm, stay safe, and if you see us passing by, give us a wave – we’ll be the ones in high-vis, not red suits.
