Avolon M&E are looking for a Junior / Intermediate Technical Services Engineer to join an established commercial fit-out contractor in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a grounding in M&E / Building Services who is looking to broaden their experience, take on more responsibility and progress towards Technical Services Management.

Working alongside experienced Technical Services and Project teams, you’ll gain exposure to M&E design and coordination, subcontractor management, project delivery, site meetings, quality, testing, commissioning and handover.

Applicants should have some experience within M&E, Building Services or construction, alongside a proactive attitude and genuine desire to develop. An HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant engineering or building services discipline would be advantageous.

Previous commercial fit-out experience is not essential.

This role would suit an Engineer, M&E Coordinator or Building Services Engineer looking to step up, broaden their project experience and develop their career within commercial fit-out.

Avolon M&E are working with a leading MEP contractor to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager to support the delivery of M&E works at HMP Isle of Wight.

This hands-on role will take responsibility for the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

You’ll manage M&E subcontractors, review technical information, monitor programmes and quality, coordinate commissioning activities and ensure project documentation and handover requirements are successfully completed.

Applicants should have strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge with previous experience managing M&E packages on major construction projects.

Experience with a main contractor or established M&E contractor is preferred, while government, justice, defence or other secure project experience would be advantageous.

Avolon M&E are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager / Advisor to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major data centre project in Saunderton.

This full-time, site-based role will support the project team, supply chain and client representatives in maintaining high standards of health, safety and wellbeing across the M&E works.

Responsibilities will include site inspections and audits, reviewing RAMS, supporting safe systems of work, incident investigations, attending H&S meetings and ensuring compliance with company procedures, legislation and CDM 2015.

Applicants should have strong construction health and safety experience, ideally within M&E or building services, alongside a NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.

Previous data centre, mission-critical or critical infrastructure experience would be highly advantageous.

The project is currently programmed through to July 2027, with flexibility on salary for the right candidate.

Avolon M&E are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a large, reputable contractor delivering projects for local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private-sector clients.

Working closely with the Bid and Contracts teams, you’ll prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for mechanical projects ranging from approximately £50,000 to £5 million.

The role will involve reviewing specifications and drawings, producing take-offs, obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations, preparing detailed cost estimates, identifying risks and value-engineering opportunities, and supporting bids through to submission.

Applicants should have strong mechanical building services knowledge and ideally 5+ years’ estimating experience. Experience with Ensign, Microsoft Project and Excel would be advantageous, alongside a relevant construction, engineering or quantity surveying qualification.

A full UK driving licence is required.

The package includes a company car or allowance, pension, life insurance, employee benefits and up to 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
