The Shore Group are actively recruiting for the role of Project Planners.

We are looking for experienced Merchandising Team Leaders who are ready for the next step in their career.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individuals to work with one of the largest Blue-chip UK Retailers, supporting their 3-year development program.

The role is primarily working from home Monday to Friday.

37 1/2 Hours per week.

£18.50 per hour.

Laptop provided.

Start date: Week commencing 16th November.

3 weeks training provided by the Retailer.

Key skills/Tasks

Merchandising experience.

Producing block phasing plans.

Experience in Excel/Acrobat Reader would be beneficial (full training will be provided)

Detailed daily phasing plans produced.

Presenting plans to Retail and Contractors.

Start date w/c 16th November.

3 weeks training provided by the Retailer.

Mission Obective: Capture retail refit transformation.

We sent our Marketing Executive, Dylan up to Peterborough to install time-lapse cameras and document the complete fit-out of a new store.

Over the next five weeks, we’ll be following the journey from empty unit to finished retail space, capturing every stage of the transformation along the way.

'An industry we wouldn’t have otherwise explored'.

Many schools don’t always have the opportunity to learn about the construction industry and the wide range of careers it offers. To help change that, Kate Hughes, representing Integrated Services, delivered a presentation to Years 7–11 at Millais School, an all-girls’ secondary school in Horsham.

Kate spoke about her journey to becoming a project manager and highlighted the pathways into the industry. The session gave students a valuable chance to ask questions, gain insight and explore a role they might not have previously considered.

It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce construction as a potential career path, one that the school noted they may not otherwise have explored.

We would also like to thank our colleagues Andrew Cooper-Keith, who shared case studies on the younger generation and highlighted industry progress as an ally for women in construction, and Jess Peskett, who supported the presentation.

Last week, we hosted a Charity Golf Day at the London Golf Club in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

We were joined by Taylor OFarrell, a cancer survivor, who shared his story with the group. It's one thing to play a round in support of a cause. It's another to hear first-hand what that cause actually means. Taylor reminded everyone why days like this matter.

To add to the occasion football legend Teddy Sheringham stepped up and got a hole-in-one. His first in 30 years! A great moment for him, and an even better one for Teenage Cancer Trust, as it helped us raise even more for this incredible cause.

We're still counting up the final total, but we'll share the number as soon as it's confirmed. Every penny goes to a charity that supports young people through one of the hardest things a person can face.
