We were recently successful in an application for funding from Coalfield Area Committee Councillors.

This was for a dishwasher for the centre which will all the projects based in the building, alternative education, training room, community café, sports groups.

The funding is already making a difference, thank you.

Toilet and cafe opening for Easter 🐣

Just a quick update, the large lake has had a blue tint added to it. It’s a darker blue in places as it disperses.

It is harmless to humans, pets and wildlife.

The dye is to reduce light getting into the lake to prevent w**d and algal growth.

Sunderland residents are being invited to share their views by taking part in a survey about how they access nature. 🌿 🌳

Insights from the survey will shape the Connecting Through Nature project for Sunderland, which will support nature recovery and encourage more residents to enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.

Through the survey, residents can share their thoughts about what being out in nature means to them, whether in local green spaces or in their favourite places across the city.
