We are recruiting for a Site Engineer/ Section Engineer experienced in Civil Engineering projects on a permanent basis to join my clients Teesside Regional office.
Job Spec below:
Setting out within the allowable tolerances.
Monitoring of the installation to ensure the work is installed in accordance with tolerances and standards.
Ensuring the workforce and contractors understand the setting out information provided.
Recording and testing of the workmanship inc. surveying the works during construction and upon completion.
Compiling Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plan, Quality Assurance documentation & handover dossiers.
Work closely with the clients representative and site management to effectively and safely complete the works.
Assist and prepare sketches for distribution to client, workforce and contractors.
Provide technical support to ensure problems are overcome and queries are resolved.
About You
Civil Engineering background inc. experience in a similar role on similar projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good communication with workforce, client and management team
HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (or Similar)
CSCS card or CCSNG Safety Passport.
Working knowledge of CAD is preferred but not essential.
SSSTS or above and First Aid would be beneficial but
not essential.
Work times will be a 45-hour working week (Monday -
Friday).
Salary is negotiable.
