This is a post I have been looking forward to sharing! Deborah Brindley joins our FJN Growth Solutions team today as Marketing Consultant!

Debs has successfully worked with numerous leading brands across her time with Barclays, RSA and Intact and we are absolutely delighted that she has chosen to work with us and to support the marketing ambitions of our clients. Top day yesterday courtesy of the man, the legend, David Corney and his team at FIREMELON LTD at the inaugural The Evie Dove Foundation 5 a side tournament.

Dave knows how to put on an event and yesterday was top drawer on all levels. Our FJN Solutions managed to get to the final but came up just short against a very good Penningtons team - well played lads 👏

Thanks to Ben Johnson Gary Thomas Ciaran Moores and Cosimo Edwards who joined Dan Ellis and myself in the FJN team - top boys 💪👊⚽️

Great to see so many of our friends from the industry and enjoying a pint in the sunshine. Good times! ☀️🍻

Friday marked our 7th charity match for Wolfram Syndrome UK - the story of the afternoon is in the link in the comments below.

Huge thanks to Horsham FC for hosting us (and washing the kits after again), Monte Forte - Neapolitan Pizza for hosting the evening event and the legendary Simon Roe for taking the pics as usual. Thanks also to ref Simon Faires and his two linos.

Special mentions to goal scorers in the 90 minutes Christopher Bates, Daniel Woods, TC Johnston , Amit Bhudia Cert CII, Darren Nicol, James Sandford and Richard Grover DipPFS and also player of the match for their respective teams Andy Greaves and Christopher Bates 🏆🏆

Another year of bragging rights for Dan over Stuart Perry begins.... 🏆🍻

The 7th Annual FJN Solutions Cup took place on Friday at Horsham FC and what an afternoon it was! As per every game we have played so far, the sun shone on the great and the good of the insurance industry, and we got to enjoy playing on the hallowed 4g in beautiful Spring sunshine.

It was an afternoon of firsts for us :

- the first game that Stuart Perry has missed 🥲 (although he did manage his team and battled his way through a few pints on the side line)
- our first ever draw 🤝
- our first two women players (who were absolutely exceptional throughout!)
- and as a result of the drawn match, our first ever penalty shoot out ⚽💥
- six debutants! (Welcome to the FJN football family to Lucia C Danielle Smith Rob Flynn Ben Johnson Matt Boxall and Andy Greaves)
- my son Fin's first appearance with a 5 minute 'after school' cameo at the end

The whole purpose of the event is to raise funds, and awareness, for Wolfram Syndrome UK. The team have just confirmed that £1,847.25 was raised at the game so a massive thank you from us to all who played and came to watch. Superstars one and all!

There will be a full write up to tell you the tale of the afternoon on our company website tomorrow. This will include lots of pics but you can also see a few below on this post.

Apologies if anyone was bunking off sick and has now been found out.... 😂

Massive thanks to my team - Kai Ellis Amy Bellamy Stuart Perry Dan Ellis - for all the help, and also to my footballing right hand man Richard Grover DipPFS for being the winning captain again. Big shout out to Christopher Bates and Andy Greaves for being player of the match for their teams.
