Natalia finally got to visit the AKA UK team! 🇬🇧

She spent a few days with Ryan and the team, travelling from dealer to dealer, meeting managers, stepping into workshops and chatting with mechanics about what their day-to-day really looks like.

Of course, the trip wasn’t all work. There was a very serious mission to find the best fish and chips, a coffee ranking at every dealer, a welcome cake from Ryan, and a first taste of pork scratchings at an old pub in York. 😂

A great few days with the UK team, and plenty of stories to bring home!

Hybrid and electric vehicles may look similar from the outside, but their maintenance needs can be quite different.

A hybrid still combines an electric motor with a traditional combustion engine, while a full EV has fewer moving mechanical components.

That doesn't mean EVs are maintenance-free, though. Tyres, brakes, fluids and battery systems still need attention.

Winter prep doesn't have to be complicated.

Before the cold weather hits, take five minutes to check:

• Tyres: Make sure the tread is at least 3mm
• Coolant: Check the level and top it up if needed
• Battery: Test the battery health
• Wipers: Replace them if they're leaving streaks
• Screenwash: Switch to a winter screenwash mix

A quick check now can help prevent bigger problems later, especially on a cold morning.

Most of us wouldn't think twice about charging our phones overnight, but an EV battery is a bigger, longer-term investment.

It won't ruin your car overnight, but it's not ideal long-term. Charge to around 80% for daily use and save full charges for road trips when you need the extra range.

Many EVs let you set a charge limit in the car or app, so you can set it once and forget it.
