CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator – Aldershot
£32,000–£37,500 DOE

Clarity are pleased to be supporting our long-established and highly regarded engineering client in the recruitment of an experienced CNC Turner. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit either a Programmer/Setter or Setter/Operator to join their skilled machining team.

About the role:

Program, set and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision components
Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture components to specification
Carry out machine set-ups, tooling changes and programme adjustments where required
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Work closely with the production team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule

About you:
Previous experience as a CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter or Setter/Operator)
Confident using both Fanuc and Siemens control systems
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
A reliable team player with a positive and proactive approach

About the role:
• Lead and develop the company's Health & Safety and Environmental Management systems
• Carry out risk assessments, audits and inspections, ensuring ongoing legal compliance
• Drive continuous improvement across Health & Safety, environmental practices and ISO 14001 standards
• Promote a positive safety culture through training, communication and employee engagement
• Work closely with Directors and department managers, providing expert advice and guidance
• Produce reports, monitor KPIs and ensure the business is always audit-ready

About you:
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail to play a vital role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before they enter production or are dispatched to customers.

About the role:
• Inspect incoming stock, materials and customer returns to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Check products against approved samples, specifications and documentation
• Record inspection findings, defects and quality reports accurately
• Investigate quality concerns and support supplier and customer return investigations
• Liaise with various internal departments to resolve quality issues
• Visit local warehouse locations to collect and inspect product samples when required

About you:
Previous experience within Quality Control, Goods In Inspection, Warehouse or Manufacturing

Confident using IT systems to maintain accurate inspection records

About the role:
• Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards
• Supervise and support a small team of Quality Inspectors, providing coaching and day-to-day guidance
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Oversee Goods In inspections, First-Off approvals and customer return investigations
• Support ISO 9001 compliance, audits and quality documentation
• Work closely with Production, Warehouse and Customer Service teams to maintain exceptional quality standards

About You/Your experience:

Previous experience within Quality Control, Inspection or Manufacturing
Experience supervising, mentoring or leading a small team

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
£35-£40K FTE / £17.95- £20 p/hr
