Osborne Appointments are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives for our client Booker.

Booker Distribution Centre is located on Haydock Industrial Estate and require own transport as the Public Transport links are not great.

! You must be 18 or over to apply !

! Drug and Alcohol test is a part of the Recruitment Process !

This job is on Temporary to Permanent basis after 12weeks for the right candidate.

This position is FULL TIME only!

The main duties of a Warehouse Operative are:

-Order Picking
-Driving MHE (i.e. LLOP and/or PPT)
-Using RF scanner system
-Following Health and Safety
-Wrapping completed pallets and dropping them off in an appropriate location
-Manual handling (up to 25kg)

! Training will be provided and FULLY paid !

The shifts are based on a weekly rotating system which means that you will be required to work 06:00-14:00 one week and 14:00-22:00 the following week.

The main benefits of a Warehouse Operative are:

-Excellent rate of pay that is paid weekly at the following rates:

Monday to Friday:

06:00-14:00 £11.11/ph

14:00-22:00 £11.11/ph until 18:00 £12.78/ph after 18:00

Sunday:

06:00-14:00 £13.13/ph

14:00-22:00 £13.13/ph until 18:00 £14.99/ph after 18:00

-8 hours shifts with an overtime available at the following rates:

Monday to Friday £14.87/ph

Sunday £16.85/ph

-Performance Bonus
85%-89.99% £0.30/ph
90%-94.99% £0.67/ph
95%-99.99% £1.00/ph
100%-104.99% £1.32/ph
105%-109.99% £1.64/ph
110%-114.99% £1.97/ph
115% £2.30/ph

-Rota for 12 months in advance

-Free Saturdays

-Working 5 days out of 7

We are looking for pickers with MHE experience (LLOP or PPT), picking and packing. The role Involves manual handling of weights up to 25 kg. Training is provided and fully paid.
