Due to expansion of a sector within the business a new Data Manager is required to manage 2 new retail audits.
The Data Manager will be responsible for taking retailer monthly EPOS reports (of sales) and writing data-protocols to export from the EPOS or CSV files into the retail audit database. This includes data cleaning, data transformation using specialist programming languages such as Python and R, managing hundreds of thousands of lines of data from multiple systems and ensuring that they can be processed and handled by the Retail Audit databases.

The Data Manager will also be responsible for the development of the system including product categorisation, data integration and ensuring the data can be accessed and presented at bespoke / different detail and security levels through a secure online-dashboard reporting tool and interrogated by the web-portal. This includes data analysis, data loading and preparing reports as per the requirements.

You will be working as part of a leading industry audit team, and be given independent responsibility to affect and influence the development of the services, whilst being supported by a dedicated market data audit team.

An initial 6 month contract will become a permanent position within the team when the new audits are established. The role is focused on data analytics and classification and will include opportunities to be exposed to leading retail sales and EPOS systems internationally. You will quickly become the UK industry expert for these areas.

What do you need?

In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques in either Python/R
Knowledge of relevant relational database like SQL
Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
Experience working with large amounts of data, extracting relevant information and drawing logical conclusions
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with clients

Due to expansion, a software tester is required to join a local software house, focussing on designing, producing and running test plans and automated testing routines for a variety of different software modules. E xperience of both manual and automated (min 2 yrs auto) testing is required.

MUST have some of the following

Experience with pe*******on and performance/load testing.
Familiar and able to write T-SQL queries.
Working with TFS
Experience with the following

Allure
Cucumber/Gherkin
Jetty
Junit or similar
Maven

What do you need?

Hands on experience of Java, Selenium Web driver and Eclipse
Strong testing background with modern testing techniques
Create and execute test plans using own expertise
Write well-defined and concise bugs, reworks, and test reports.
Execute functional, non-functional, exploratory, smoke and regression tests.
Recommend improvements to existing software
Excellent communication skills
Contribute to the expansion, enhancement and development of existing automation framework.

Front End Web Developer with good JavaScript framework (angularJS, react, vue.js) experience? Does being involved in design UX UI as well as Front End coding, get you passionate about the sites and pages you develop? Want to work in a software house, within a front end team, which is fun, casual and everyone valued?

What does this role involve?

Working for a niche software house, joining an established front end team, this is a hybrid role with lots of variety.
Working on various projects which you will own you'll be responsible for gathering requirements and developing responsive websites.
However you'll also be responsible for design of user interfaces and user experience making improvements to the company's products.
You'll also get involved with on-going technical R&D, and developments in styles, templates and design.

What are your skills?

You're a graduate with a couple of years' experience in web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS v1, Bootstrap
However you'll also have some of the following: NodeJS with Express.js libraries, Web Security, SQL, Unit testing - particularly Jasmine, Task Runner - particularly Gulp, Mongo DB, GIT (Git Hub), Typescripts, Angular 2+, User interface testing - particularly Selenium with Protractor, Data visualisation - particularly chart.js, Operational maintenance and deployment experience, AGILE development methodologies
