📣🛻We're Hiring -Warehouse Operative – Forklift Licence Required

Location: Uckfield, TN22

Salary: £13.39 per hour

Hours: Full-time, approximately 45 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Weekend overtime may be available

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our client’s busy warehouse and production operation in Uckfield.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous warehouse experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. You will support the day-to-day movement and preparation of stock, working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Locating and moving specific items around the warehouse
Preparing stock for production lines
Working closely with production teams and running operatives
Checking deliveries and collections for any damaged goods or stock
Reporting any damages or discrepancies promptly
Ensuring stock is stored and handled correctly
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Carrying out manual handling duties as required
Supporting general warehouse operations as needed
Skills & Experience Required
Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
Minimum 1 year of previous warehouse experience
Previous manual handling experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Good attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach
Working Hours & Pay
£13.39 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Approximately 45 hours per week
Additional weekend overtime opportunities may be available
