MC Personnel is currently recruiting for Laundry staff to work for an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility service solutions. We are looking for production operatives to join friendly team at Industrial Laundry site based in Gravesend
You will be part of a large team whose responsibility it is to make sure customers across the hospitality sector receive outstanding levels of customer service, by ensuring that they receive on time, in full deliveries from us and that all work is completed to the highest quality and hygiene standards.
You will be responsible for
• processing linen such as towels, tablecloths and bedding
• sorting deliveries,
• operating machinery,
• packing outbound deliveries.

About you
Our ideal Candidate will have;
• A good understanding of English
• A good level of physical fitness and be comfortable with working on their feet for long periods
• Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
• A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience of working within a factory environment would be beneficial, but not essential
Pay Rate
£8.91p/h plus attendance bonus (for full shift completed your hourly rate will go up to £9.91 p/h )
Working hours
Monday – Friday 3pm – 11pm

Job Role: Production team leader
Location: Sevenoaks
Pay Rate: 20-26k doe

Brief description of duties:
About the role
We are looking for experienced team leader To lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained through the achievement of on time, in full deliveries to the required quality standards.
Key duties include;
Manage the Production operation to produce quality products which meet the customers packing requirements, are produced efficiently and delivered at the agreed time.
Ensure compliance with safety rules and legislation including correct training for staff machinery in accordance with policy and procedure.
Manage and control all activities in accordance with the production plan to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) targets are achieved.
Train, motivate, monitor and coach the production
Ensure site inductions and workwear are deployed to staff and visitors.
Contribute to feedback and debriefing sessions to identify common operational issues and identify opportunities to improve policies processes and procedures.
Work with management team to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and added value of all functional activities.
Work with the onsite management team to identify solutions to any production.
Organise your staff in the best possible way to maximise efficiency for the Company.
Report the production achieved as required and a detailed handover for the next shift.
Any special requirements / licences:
Experience of working within a highly focused Food Production environment.
Min. 2 years hand on people management experience gained within an industrial/ production focussed environment.
Experience in managing medium-sized or larger teams (50 people +)
Demonstrated experience of managing and motivating team members to achieve operational KPIs.
Ability to deliver quality results under pressure.
Competency in PC skills.
