Bringing people together. Supporting local causes. Making a difference in our communities.

Our new video captures some of the ways Parklands residents and colleagues are doing just that, from supporting Highland Hospice and our other charity partners and bringing generations together through Earth Time’s Waddle Toddle groups to backing Highland Pride and hosting our own Pride celebrations.

It also celebrates residents taking the lead, including 90-year-old Margaret Douglas, who climbed Castle Hill in Cullen to raise funds for Feeling Blue.

Parklands Care Homes is proud to partner with UHI Inverness and Scottish Care to offer three social care apprenticeships at our homes in Muir of Ord, Tain and Fortrose.

We're pleased to support this initiative to encourage more young people to consider a career in social care, offering the opportunity to earn while they learn, gain practical experience and work towards a recognised qualification.

Parklands Care Homes has been shortlisted for the Community Involvement Award at the Caring UK Awards.

From raising funds for local charities to bringing generations together and helping tackle isolation, our residents and colleagues are making a difference in their communities, supported by families and local volunteers.

That commitment includes more than £18,000 raised and donated to Highland Hospice, Mikeysline and Feeling Blue over the past two years.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this work possible. The winners will be announced in December.

Our care homes are firmly rooted in their local communities, and we’re proud to play our part in supporting them.

Through last month’s Big Parklands Charity Challenge, our residents, colleagues, families and supporters raised more than £3,000 for Highland Hospice, Mikeysline and Feeling Blue.

From sponsored walks and cycling challenges to car washes and community events, it’s been a collective effort for three charities doing important work across our communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated or helped make it happen.

We all know that a change of scenery can do us the world of good. 🌊 🚐

Glenisla residents Morag Macintyre and Sheena Thain, both in their 90s, hadn’t imagined they would enjoy a holiday again. But manager Brenda Harper helped make it possible, joining them for a caravan break at Silver Sands in Lossiemouth.

Their weekend included visits to local attractions, with Brodie Castle and trying on hats at Brodie Countryfare among the highlights.

A thoughtful idea from Brenda that gave Morag and Sheena the chance to get away and make more happy memories together. Special thanks to volunteer Anne for helping make it happen.

🏍️ What a sight! Around 30 motorbikes rolled into Weston View in Keith as members of local biking group 'On Any Sunday Run' visited residents and presented a generous £300 donation.

The visit was especially meaningful for resident Mary Gilles, who was a keen biker and enjoyed spending time around the bikes again.

Founded by father and son Dave and David Christie in 2021, the group brings local bikers together to support mental wellbeing and social connections.

A huge thank you to the group for their generosity. 🤝
