Sad news has reached us today that beloved Swansea Sound weatherman John Powell has passed away at the age of 92.Broadcasting from his Gower Weather Centre John provided the go to weather forecast for countless Swansea Sound listeners for almost 35 years until his retirement in 2009. RIP John the Weather
