🛠️ Learning new skills at Longlevens RFC!

Emily and Clare recently visited the VIY (Volunteer It Yourself) project at Longlevens RFC, where a young person they are supporting has been getting hands-on experience as part of the programme.

This is the first time VIY has run the programme in Gloucestershire, giving young people the opportunity to build practical skills while working towards an Entry Level 3 City and Guilds Accreditation in Health and Safety.

It was great to visit the site and meet one of the trainers🙌

Our recent Job Fair at Lydney Town Hall welcomed 100 people, with 28 employers and support organisations joining us to share vacancies, training opportunities and local support.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited and helped make the event a success.

And the good news? We’ve already been invited back to Lydney Town Hall for another Job Fair in spring 2027! 👏
