It was great to be out in the community at recent MSK (musculoskeletal) education events, where Connect to Work joined local physiotherapists to speak with people on the MSK waiting list.

Many of the people we met wanted to talk about how their health was affecting their work, or their plans to return to work. We're pleased that these conversations have already led to referrals into the Employment and Skills Hub, helping people access personalised support with employment, health and wellbeing.

Our Young People's Team were out supporting students on GCSE Results Day, offering advice, guidance and practical support to help them take their next steps with confidence.

It was great to celebrate students' achievements, connect with local schools, and share the support available through the Employment and Skills Hub. Following the success of the day, the team has already been invited to attend future events, helping us continue to support young people across Gloucestershire.

We were pleased to partner with Cirencester Chamber of Commerce to deliver the Work Skills Forum🙌

Over the course of the week, young people developed employability skills, met local employers, and took part in mock interviews, leaving with greater confidence and a better understanding of their strengths.

Thank you to Mainstream Digital and Cotswold Labels and Signs for welcoming participants and sharing valuable insights into the world of work.
