I spoke with DotGO Designer Jess and Content Writer Andrew about their experience working with Recruit Kenya business owner Nigel Bird.
Jess: Recruit Kenya was a really fun website to work on. Nigel wanted the design to be heavily influenced by Kenya, so we incorporated bright colours, patterns and bold pictures. I had previously worked with Nigel on friartucksinn.co.uk, which again was a very fun website to build, Nigel always brings great ideas to the table, but gives me design freedom to bring them all together.
Andrew: For me, it’s the history shared between our two nations and the way that has made our two cultures so compatible today! I’m a bit of an Afrophile as it is, so this website brought back many lovely memories of my own time spent over there. It was an absolute joy to write!
