Our residents have lived at our setting for up to 20 years and are settled. As a Support Worker you will be enabling individuals to live independently. The role may include food preparation, household tasks, supporting them to keep in contact with family and friends, accessing the community and attending appointments.

We recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is person centred and tailored to their needs. The role is to promote the individual’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of support. We also provide support for daily living skills and help support with day-to-day tasks and activities.

Person Specification
The successful candidate may have experience working within an adult care setting. This could be in residential care or nursing care; learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health care, health care assistant (HCA).
However, if you are looking for a change in career, no previous experience and/or qualifications are necessary as full training is provided. The candidate will need to be patient, kind and have good communication skills.

Bodenham, Hereford.

This residential setting is located in Bodenham, surrounded with views of the countryside just a few miles from the City Centre. A fully refurbished farm house is home to 13 service users that require support with daily living, your role can really make a difference to the lives of the residents.

Applicants should have a friendly and approachable personality. Must be reliable and demonstrate flexability within the role.

This position consists of supporting residents aged 19 to 65 with learning disabilities, in a well-established care facility in Hereford. You will be part of an established staff team. You will be supporting with personal hygiene, mealtimes, medication, appointments and social activities.

There are both day and night shifts available.

Due to location, the ability to drive is essential to fully meet the needs of the service users.

Appropriate qualifications are welcomed, though not essential as full training can be provided, both online, in house and by external trainers.

The temp to perm position, working nights, consists of supporting residents aged 19 to 65, with conditions such as dementia and learning disabilities, in a well-established care facility in Hereford. You will be part of an established staff team.

Most of the residents have lived at the care home for over 20 years and therefore, are mostly very settled.

This is a caring, homely environment, where everyone is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Residents require support with personal care and daily living skills.
Other support includes helping with appointments, maintaining contact with their families and an array of activities which include Woodland walks, Arts and Crafts, Visits to town, Cookery sessions, Horse riding and visits to the Theatre.
