One week, two job fairs💥

Always great to be a part of these events and even greater to see such a fantastic turnout form the local community. It's super encouraging to see the level of enthusiasm on both sides of the coin.

A huge congrats to organisers of both the Tameside Autumn jobs fair and the High Peak Careers, Skills & Jobs Fair, and thank you for letting us take part.

A great result for Meg Docker Kpj and Jonny👏

Jonny was looking for something a bit more stable after work started to slow down with his previous employer.

He already had FLT driving and labouring experience, was comfortable with heavy lifting and came across as really friendly, mature and keen to get stuck in.

Meg introduced him to an FLT Driver opportunity with a leading manufacturer and it turned out to be a really good fit.

“I was looking for something more stable where I could keep building my experience, so I’m really happy to have found the right opportunity.”

Congratulations, Jonny! 🎉

💚💜

#𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 🙏

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Ruth, Sylvia and Joe from the Archer family at KPJ Group in Glossop for spending a day last week volunteering in our gardens 🌿

They rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a variety of jobs in our Tranquil Garden, including weeding the block paving, giving a much-loved bench a fresh coat of paint following its recent repair, and painting the back of our new garden gate.

Their hard work has helped keep this peaceful space looking its best for our patients, families and visitors to enjoy 😊

We're so grateful for their continued support and generosity. It's amazing what can be achieved when local businesses and their teams come together to support their community 💜

Another brilliant result from Jack 👏

Levi was facing redundancy from his Bench Joiner role and wanted to secure something new before his position ended at the end of the month.

With strong hands-on joinery experience and a bunch of transferable skills, Jack quickly recognised that Levi could be a great fit for a Cabinet Maker opportunity with one of our longest standing partners.

Within just two weeks, Levi had secured his new position 🎉

“KPJ supported me throughout my job search and interview process. Jack was always there to answer my questions and made me feel at ease every step of the way.”

Congratulations, Levi!

Helping where we can💚

A few members of the team spent the day with our good friends at Willow Wood Hospice to help freshen up their garden area.

We've always valued our relationship with the Willow Wood team and we are just so happy to have been able to lend a hand🥰
