CASK WAREHOUSE OPERATOR | NEWBURGH, FIFE
£30,000 + COMPANY BONUSES | PERMANENT

2020 Recruitment are recruiting a Cask Warehouse Operator for an award-winning business in Newburgh.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering cask handling and storage, filling and sampling support, forklift operation, deliveries and warehouse records.

Working hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
Friday: 08:00–14:30
Overtime available when required.

You’ll need a current Counterbalance Forklift licence or previous forklift operating experience, good attention to detail and a reliable approach to working safely.

Previous experience handling casks would be a strong advantage.

Own transport is essential due to the site’s location. Right to work in the UK is required.

⏱ Approx. 2 weeks
💷 £25 per hour CIS base rate

Hours:
Week 1 – 5 days, 8-hour shifts
Week 2 – 7–10 days, 12-hour shifts including weekend work

2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based, established Painting & Decorating business who are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their team on a permanent basis.

With a steady workload across Fife and Edinburgh, this is an opportunity to work with a reliable team that takes pride in the quality of its work.

As a highly rated business, our client works on various properties from high end domestic projects and various commercial contracts.

The role
You’ll carry out painting and decorating work across a range of properties, working independently and alongside other members of the team. You’ll be expected to deliver a high standard of finish, keep work areas tidy and be courteous when working in clients’ homes.

What we’re looking for
• Experience in painting and decorating
• A reliable, punctual approach and pride in your work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional manner when dealing with clients
• Wallpapering experience would be an advantage
• A driving licence and your own transport are preferred

• £19 per hour
• 38-hour working week

2020 Recruitment are working with a Waste Management company who are looking to add to their Fife based quarry.

This will initially be a contract positions, but a permanent position will be offered at the end of the 12 week probationary period.

This is a Monday to Friday position working 48 hours per week with staggered start and end times.

Overtime available every second Saturday.

Due to location, it is essential that you have access to your own transportation.

The Roles
2 X Site Operatives – Site Operatives are assisting with the production process, sort the different metals and keep the installation clean and maintained.

This is a hands-on role Suitable for someone who enjoys an industrial or outdoor environment, has a practical and mechanical mindset and likes being part of a team.

CSCS preferred but not essential. Previous experience within a construction/industrial or waste management environment would be highly beneficial.

£14ph PAYE

2 X Excavator Driver 10 tonnes and above (preferably with Wheel Loader ticket) –

Wheel Loader/ Excavator Drivers ensure that the various material flows from the installation are processed correctly so that the production of the installation does not stagnate.

In addition to material handling, the operator assists the installation manager with the daily maintenance of the machines.

Previous experience as well as CPCS or NPORS Ticket is required.

£19ph PAYE

All these positions are PAYE only as successful candidates will move onto the company books at the end of the 12-week period.

Right to work in the UK is required.

Fair Work Agency inspection completed. 🙌

Ecstatic with the feedback we received today.

There were a couple of minor points for us to address, but feedback given was that we have strong robust processes and procedures in place. It was also great to hear that our Terms of Assignment were one of the most thorough they had seen.

Following their review, they were satisfied that no further checks were required.

Compliance is such an important part of what we do at 2020 Recruitment, so receiving this feedback was a great reflection of the work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure we’re doing things properly.

Good luck to all the other recruitment agencies across Fife, the Lothians and Tayside with their upcoming inspections.

It’s Friday. If you need extra people on site on Monday, now is the time to make the call.

A gap on the rota doesn’t become easier to fill at 4:45pm. By then, the candidates you want may have accepted another shift, and there’s less time to check availability, interview them and make sure they are a good fit.
