We're pleased to see the number of CSCS cards issued to under-25's has risen by almost 9% in the past two years.

'Young workers now account for 19% of all cards issued.

The figures suggest more young people are entering construction through skilled routes.

Plant operatives recorded the largest increase in under-25 card issuance of any major occupation group, rising by 24.7% between 2023 and 2025.

Electrotechnical occupations grew by 15.6%.

Temporary traffic management increased by 13.2%.'
It's encouraging to see these figures amid concerns over youth employment.

"Gallagher has reported increased revenue and profits as the company seeks to expand its range of operations", reports Construction Wave.

'For the year ended 30 September 2025, the Kent-based firm generated revenue of £129 million, compared to £121 million in the previous year.'

Multiplex sold to Japanese contractor Obayashi, for £492m.��
