What started as a simple step challenge quickly turned into one of the most competitive months we’ve had at MRG.
In May, we launched a team step challenge to encourage everyone to get moving more and build healthier habits.
The scoring was simple:
👣 1 point for each of your first 10,000 daily steps
➕ 1 extra point for every additional 1,000 steps
💪 1 point for every 30-minute exercise session, whether that was the gym, a class, training, or sport
Before long, the leaderboard became a daily talking point, with everyone pushing themselves that little bit further throughout the month.
A huge congratulations to our top three:
🥇 Stephen Hill – 238 points
🥈 Isabelle Taborda – 219 points
🥉 Ross Murdoch – 169 points
The real win, though, was seeing the whole team moving more, supporting each other, and building healthier habits along the way.
We’ll definitely be bringing this challenge back in the future. What should we do next? 👀
