We are now recruiting Technical Operators to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, with a clear development pathway into multi-skilled operator, team leading, and future management opportunities.

The hours of work for the Technical Operators on Conti Shift on a rotation between shifts – Please see below:

Day shift 6:45am – 7pm
Night shift 6:45pm – 7am

Please note, you must be able to work all shift patterns aligned to the company's structure on the Conti shift pattern.

The Role:
You will be working across production and warehouse environments, supporting a highly organised shift-based operation. This is an entry level role with a defined pathway to progress into higher-skill roles, including:
Multi-Skilled Machine Operator
Technical Roles (training provided)
Team Leadership & Supervision
Long-term progression into Management

You will be encouraged to share ideas, raise improvements, and work within a business that values continuous improvement and open communication.
All three patterns operate within a Monday–Friday structure.

Warehouse / Production / Fulfilment
Machinery operation & equipment handling

Our client distributes white goods and home appliances to customers throughout Scotland. Warehouse Operators must have previous experience working within this kind of sector and must be physically able to lift and move appliances within the warehouse. You will be unboxing the appliances and preparing the paperwork for the deliveries.

Requirements:

High standards of work levels with excellent understanding of Health & Safety
Must be physically able to lift and move heavy items such as appliances
Ability to provide a reference from a previous employer from the last 2 years
Local to the client or reliable transportation to get to site safely for 12 noon start and 10pm finish
A good team player who works well in a small team
A UK Driving Licence would be an advantage for career development within the client

As a drivers mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our client's products. Working alongside experienced drivers, you'll assist in the safe loading and unloading heavy goods, ensuring that deliveries reach their destination in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential due to the start times
Flexibility due to the role being any 5 days of the week
Can work well both individually and within a team

TM Scotland are proud to have partnered with a well-known Scottish brand based in Uddingston who are utilising our temp to perm services for the back shift team working Monday to Friday 27 hours per week.

Our client is looking to build a steady team on the back shift operation and we as the partner are looking for the right individuals to join that are also looking for 27 hours per week to either work around other commitments work wise or studies.

Taskmaster are responsible to support with the building of the team and are only able to accommodate the hours provided which are Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 9pm, Fri 2:30pm - 7:30pm.

What we require for you to be considered for the back shift operation?

Experience working within food production / manufacturing
Excellent work ethic with a reference from a previous employer
Local to the site due to the hours being set at 27 hours per week
Looking to gain a full-time permanent contract within the back shift team
Food Hygiene / Safety knowledge / A certificate would be a massive advantage
